About the role

We're looking for a Director of Product with an exceptional user-centric consumer product approach and business mindset to lead the Growth Adoption space, primarily responsible for converting prospects to members with primary account relationships.. This role is at the heart of our growth strategy, requiring a blend of creative thinking, analytical prowess, and leadership skills to drive product initiatives that attract and retain members. This product leader will be on the cross-functional growth leadership team and will be responsible for delivering product led growth to Chime via new member experiences & referrals. Product Managers at Chime are cross-functional leaders, charting the course not just for the technology and member experience, but for the success of our entire business. You'll collaborate with a team of passionate Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, Analysts, Risk Partners, and Researchers, as well as many other cross-functional partners. Together you will uncover member problems & business opportunities, build strategy, develop roadmaps, and deliver new member-value by helping millions of Americans get ahead.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $207,000 and up to $307,000. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to

  • Lead a team of passionate and capable Product Managers to improve the member experience from sign-up to conversion of primary accounts

  • Develop and evangelize an adoption & growth product strategy

  • Partner with marketing to effectively maximize our growth while minimizing CAC

  • Be both data-informed and member-centric in your approach

To thrive in this role, you have

  • At least 5-7 years product leadership experience in consumer technology companies

  • An owner's mindset - you don't shy away from the hard stuff, and dig in to the gritty details to get to the bottom of problems

  • Ability to communicate and inspire at scale

  • Experience designing intuitive mobile user interfaces and executing product plans

  • Experience in rapid experimentation for data-driven product iteration

  • Experience conducting user research to inform product strategy and solution design

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with tools for doing data analysis

  • Empathy for users and a drive to discover and resolve their pain points

  • Experience at a fast-growing startup in a cross-functional environment

  • Passion for our mission: helping members financial peace of mind

  • Strong collaboration in team environments but also able to act quickly as the decision-maker
