Position Overview

The Risk Management Solutions Products team is looking for talented individuals with a passion for driving new products and product capabilities from initial concept to successful delivery and market adoption.

The ideal candidate will identify compelling market opportunities and creates a product strategy to exploit the opportunity. You will meet with customers, users, prospects, partners, and industry analysts to communicate RMS's vision of the market, product roadmap, and competitive differentiation. Knowledgeable of SaaS and function as a primary subject matter expert on the product and its target market. Understand the competitive landscape from strategy to functional capabilities and represent RMS as a domain and product expert.

Responsibilities

  • Core Platform Service initiatives for API integrations

  • API Gateway

  • Service Telemetry

  • SDK and authoring

  • Authentication/Authorization

  • Troubleshooting/Debugging

  • Evangelist for the developer persona.

  • Drive the developer portal for documentation and tooling.

  • Up to date competitive market landscape and product analysis

  • Take ownership of the all related roadmaps and active projects

  • Talk to internal field people to understand the customer's needs.

  • Product requirements documents

  • Product collateral and sales tools such as articles, datasheets, white papers, blogs, how-to videos, demos, etc.

  • Work with engineering and your team to ensure proper investment and execution in support of your strategy

  • Meet with customers

  • Present back to PM team strategy, learning and goals.

  • Continue to extend vision, strategy, and roadmap

Experience/Skills Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field

  • 8+ years minimum of Product Management or similar experience.

  • Business-driven with a passion for technology - You crave uncovering new revenue opportunities and developing strategies to increase the market presence of your products

  • High energy and drive - product managers are crucial leaders and decision-makers in the company and need the energy and passion to be on top of their game

  • Ability to recognize and communicate customer acquisition opportunities and related revenue opportunities, not just a technical solution

  • Fast learner that can quickly synthesize ideas, information, and options into a strategy, plan, or response and effectively communicate it

  • Innovative and creative problem solver with strong analytical skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in a business environment, along with a proven ability to prioritize, organize and deliver on commitments

The successful candidate will be responsible for peptide process research, large scale laboratory production and process transfer to CMOs and management of partnering CMOs. Expectations: * Conduct laboratory scale experiments to identify routes and optimize conditions for manufacturing of peptides and amino acids using both Solid and Solution Phase Peptide Synthesis; communicate results clearly and rapidly to internal and external teams * Demonstrate the process on large multigram scale in-house to support internal research as well as for outsourcing to partnering CMOs * Develop and execute manufacturing and supply strategies of raw materials, regulatory starting materials, and drug substance * Work with multiple CMOs in sourcing amino acids, peptide fragments for large scale manufacturing of APIs; effectively manage outsourced PR&D and production activities. * Lead the evaluation and selection of new third-party contractors and suppliers for process development and manufacturing activities * Work closely with analytical scientists to monitor and understand the impact of process changes on the yield and impurity profile of developmental of peptides * Contribute to Quality/CMC related regulatory correspondence * Effectively document both laboratory and scale up activities * Creative and innovative problem solver Experience/Qualifications: * PhD in organic/peptide chemistry, with >7 years, or MS in organic/peptide synthesis, with 10+ years, of process research and development experience * Experience process validation and early commercial manufacturing is desired * Experience with QbD including DoE methodology applied to process development * Strong understanding of FDA/ICH/cGMP guidance * Demonstrated ability to effectively lead projects with internal and external resources * Experience with regulatory documentation (IND, IMPD, NDA, MAA, etc) and CMC regulatory interactions desired (EOP2 meeting, pre-NDA meeting, etc) * Strategic thinker and problem-solver capable of identifying risks and risk mitigation strategies * Strong teamwork, negotiation and influencing skills, able to work in a team setting and establish clear and consistent goals and objectives * Must be hands on, detailed oriented, self-driven and goal-oriented, and able to multi-task to achieve results * Must be able to adhere to strict project timelines and budgets advise teams and management on impacts and changes in project time-lines * "Out of the box" thinker, to take on calculated risks, and champion new ideas and approaches About us: Protagonist Therapeutics is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company that utilizes a proprietary technology platform to discover and develop novel peptide-based drugs to transform existing treatment paradigms for patients with significant unmet medical needs.
