Join a team building the next-gen prime brokerage as a Director, Product, working with Business Development, Operations, and Technology business partners to deliver product solutions.You bring subject matter expertise in Clearing and Financing fundamentals including trade lifecycle workflows, collateral management, liquidity management, and regulatory reporting, as well as a background leading the creation of new products, features, and functions. Responsibilities: Manage product enhancements, ensuring alignment with business objectives Gather requirements and provide the engineering team with feature requests Partner with stakeholders to deliver solutions Manage delivery timelines and project budgets Assist in creating the product road map, defining the business requirements, and ultimately ensuring successful end-to-end delivery Deep understanding of capital market structure, local and regional requirements, and a demonstrated ability to differentiate scoping to meet local requirements Clearly and concisely articulate MVP requirements, partner with Operations during the launch of MVPs, and drive future iterations with enhanced functionality The candidate will have previous broker/dealer experience Familiarity with Licenses and Registrations Required by State and Federal Authorities and SROs Knowledgeable in Clearing House Operations including DTC, NSCC, FICC (GSD/CMU/MBSD), OCC, Euroclear Understanding of requirements to build a best-in-class control environment in compliance with Industry Rules, Regulations, and Laws Experience and Requirements Bachelors, MS, or Ph.D. from a top university 7 years experience working as a Product Manager in Prime Brokerage or Capital Markets technology with a deep understanding of liquidity and market structure Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects & programs You areclear, concise, and articulate, with the ability to document feature requirements for engineering partners Ability to meet firm-wide risk and control standards while gaining legal, risk, and compliance approval for enhancements Proven track record of effectively resolving issues and conflicts to ensure delivery You are a consensus builder with the ability to drive an agenda across functions You are a self-starter, who is proactive, with the ability to work both autonomously as well as part of a collaborative organization.You bring a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get work done The base salary range for this position is $200,000- $280,000 and potentially more for the right person. Actual salaries can vary and will be based on various factors, such as skills, experience, and qualifications.
