RH is seeking a Director of Product Curation to lead selection and curation efforts for our upholstery product category. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a product strategy that delivers a compelling assortment and experience of products to our customers.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute merchandise concepts in accordance with RH vision and brand strategy

• Research product categories and general market data, including internet, publications, trade shows, manufacturers, catalogs, and shop visits

• Lead and oversee the product curation process from concept through final sample approval

• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure that the company has access to the best quality materials and components

• Maintain an organized library of all CAD Files, sample status, development updates, Material changes, or upgrades

• Effectively communicate and present product ideas, timelines, and key milestones to leadership and cross functional partners as needed

• Ensure efficient financial management by planning, tracking, and reconciling budget categories, maintaining accurate expenditure records, and submitting them promptly

• Facilitate brainstorming sessions by showcasing inspiring tear sheets and sharing initial ideas with the Product Curation team

OUR REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience in product design/development or interior design with upholstery, specifically in furniture, is preferred

• Proficient in industry standard design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar programs

• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and effective multitasking abilities while also exhibiting strong project management and leadership skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead effectively in a fast moving, team oriented environment

• Ability to engage and inspire a wide variety of partners, stakeholders, and team members

• Exceptional innovation and collaboration abilities

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Occasional travel, both domestically and internationally
