Director, Product Architect - Co-Brand
The Product Architect, Director, will be responsible for looking horizontally across existing Mastercard assets to package solutions which address segment needs working in close collaboration with the US Market Development team. The Product Architect must understand the needs of our customers and deliver repeatable and configurable solutions leveraging the full suite of Mastercard assets to solve those problems. The position plays a critical role in understanding the merchant community pain points and building solutions to address the needs.
Shape the cobrand go-to-market customer segment solutions and packaging strategy for Mastercard products and services with a goal of winning new business, maximizing GDV and service revenue of current portfolios.
Align to customer segment (US MD) to meet their market needs (KPIs: Segment Revenue, Segment GDV, and Segment share) and ensuring there is a holistic approach to bring the issuers and merchants together from solutions/product standpoint.
Development of off-the shelf bundles to serve the merchants and issuing segment, as well as specific solutions for co-brand RFPs with a focus on minimal customer operational / implementation impact, excellent customer experience and quality delivery.
Drive implementation of bundles at both issuing and merchant side to ensure MA is well positioned for long term partnership at both merchant and issuing side.
Track and monitor the performance post wins and ensure onboarding is seamless, accelerated and as per the plan.
Ensure to provide input to the product groups to enhance their bundles and product strategies to meet the needs of the segment.
Be the one point contact and prepare the materials/demos for all co brand RFPs and bring products/service, propositions, marketing together for the customer pitches.
Work with other members of the core team to drive proactive optimization of the portfolios by leveraging analytics, bundles and products/solutions/services across the organization.
Support on boarding of new portfolio and optimization initiatives.
Identifies gaps in MasterCard's capabilities and works with Product and Services Managers and account teams on ways to address them.
All About You
Deep understanding and experience of product development, product management, consumer experience and problem solving.
Expertise in Mastercard products and services, co brand products, credit products is preferred.
Ability to comprehend the business and market context to drive innovative solutions both short term and long term.
Strong understanding of customer's evolving strategic needs, the current and potential future market environment.
Able to architect integrated solutions by combining MasterCard's products and services in ways that meet the customer's key strategic needs. Deep knowledge of which solutions work in which environments.
Highly collaborative; strong communicator, natural integrator with demonstrated ability to develop and deliver products and solutions for customer needs.
Strong product development discipline; able to manage for differentiation, consumer experience, quality, and economics.
Ability to rally and gain backing from internal stakeholders in order to build organizational support for the proposed solution.
Ability to understand in depth, analyze, and select current and emerging technologies that are pertinent to the co brand issuers and merchants.
