The impact you will have in this role:

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Function exists to provide the analysis, guidance and capabilities to effectively manage user access to the information assets of the firm in a way that aligns with corporate security policies, satisfies regulatory requirements and provides a positive end user experience.

The Senior Principal IT Risk and Security Management is a Director role focused on Privileged Access Management, a critical function within DTCC. This function is responsible for the product management of the IAM PAM tools and technologies used to handle access, and the strategy and governance of the privileged access management.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Mitigate risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.

  • Lead PAM product definition, requirements and development

  • Lead PAM vendor tool selection/product recommendations

  • Lead Audit, Operational Risk and Compliance adherence

  • Lead PAM delivery project consisting of multiple work streams, phases or releases

  • Lead in development of documentation, subject training, and other knowledge material on IAM

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at varying organizational levels

  • Build working relationships with PAM vendor product management, development and engineering teams

  • Identifies, assesses and solves sophisticated business problems.

  • Interacts with senior management on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.

  • Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals.

  • Has latitude in decision-making and acts independently to resolve methods and procedures.

  • Assist IAM strategy, roadmap and vision definition

  • Assist creation of IAM solution architecture and design

NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success:

  • Experience in: Security & Risk/Identity, Access Management and Technology Security Controls

  • Minimum 5 years' experience developing identity management strategies, architectures and implementation plans

  • Experience of Identity Governance & Administration and Privileged Access Management

  • Experience in Access Management & Federation

  • Experience facilitating business process design as it relates to handling identities and access privileges

  • Experience leading business requirements capturing and translating those into system requirements

  • Role and Policy Based Access Control and Definition

  • Audit & Risk Controls

  • Experience implementing packaged or custom IAM solutions

  • Experience leading projects through the full system development lifecycle

  • Familiarity with federated identity and web services security concepts such as SAML, Liberty ID-FF and ID-WSF, WS-Federation, OpenID, OAuth and WS-Security

  • Strong experience with PAM tools - such as Bravura PAM, ID, Password; CyberArk, Delinea, Saviynt, Privileged Identity Manager, AWS, Azure and Python

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
