Fox Networks Group (FNG) is a primary operating unit of 21st Century Fox (NASDAQ:FOXA). FNG consists of FOX Television Group, which includes FOX Broadcasting Company and 20th Century Fox Television; FOX Cable Networks, which includes FX Networks; FOX Sports Media Group, and National Geographic Partners. Together these units create, program and distribute on a worldwide basis much of America's most popular entertainment, sports and nonfiction programming.
Fox Networks Group (FNG) is currently seeking a Director to join its Portfolio Strategy team in New York. Taking a category-specific approach, the Director will serve as a crucial support role in the effort to drive growth across FNG's portfolio by applying a client-centric mind-set and consultative approach to positioning all of FNG's platforms and assets against client business challenges and drivers. Working with the VP and SVP of Portfolio Strategy, this position will be based in New York.
Support the VP and SVP of Portfolio Solutions across 1-2 categories to drive monetization growth across the FNG portfolio.
Lead client strategy and sales materials efforts across key accounts within the assigned categories on an ongoing basis to drive revenue across the FNG portfolio.
Develop Marketing positioning and POVs for specific categories via collaboration with Ad Sales, Research, Intelligence, and Marketing to drive demand for FNG assets.
Develop category specific ideas and strategies that can be pitched to agencies and clients resulting in higher monetization opportunities across the portfolio.
Develop financial analysis on category health across FNG business that results in more informed strategies.
Lead breakthrough presentation materials and strategy documents via strong collaboration with our Marketing and Creative studio teams.
Minimum of 8 years of experience across strategic brand and/or communications planning or within marketing/media on the client side.
Strong leadership and collaboration skills to drive insight and strategy across the different FNG domains Research, Marketing, Sales that result in stronger presentation materials for clients.
Superior communication skills.
Excellent executive-level presentation, leadership and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge and/or proficiency with media tools and primary research with the ability to distill insights into trade-facing marketing messages in partnership with insights team.
Experience on variety of categories (i.e. Auto, Retail, and/or Technology) and Fortune 500 clients.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
