About the team and the role:

eBay is seeking a dynamic Product Marketing Leader to spearhead our inbound product marketing and outbound go to market strategy (GTM) for Financial Services at eBay. As a key player in shaping the eBay way of Product Marketing, you will work in concert with various teams to embed a uniform, organization-wide approach to Product Marketing, elevating it to a core proficiency and strategic asset within the company!

What you will accomplish:

Ideal candidates will craft compelling product narratives and value propositions that resonate with our diverse customers, across buyers and sellers. Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for a suite of financial products, including co-branded credit cards, buy now pay later options, digital wallet, locally relevant forms of payment on a global scale, seller capital and enhanced e-commerce experiences for buyers and sellers across buying, selling, shipping and beyond.

• Influence product roadmaps by synthesizing market, customer and competitive insights, build audience segmentations and opportunity sizing.

• Create customer feedback loops during the product and marketing development process to refine the product narrative and value proposition articulation.

• Develop product value propositions, narratives, naming and external facing proof points.

• Manage product launches and ensure customer adoption of new features by partnering with channel experts across in-product content, marketing, PR communications, customer service, in-market teams, and sales channels.

• Identify internal product market fit tracking metrics; synthesize customer feedback to provide signal amidst the noise across the product life cycle: development, launch, and in-market optimization / expansion.

• Establish repeatable product marketing best practices, enabling product marketers to work in a fast-paced environment, using qualitative and quantitative market and customer insights to grow the impact of product marketing launches.

What you will bring:

• 10+ years of experience in product marketing, with at least 5 years in a people leadership role

• Strong track record of developing product and GTM strategies at e-commerce shopping and financial services companies

• Experience in credit card or co-brand issuing, small business loans, and digital payments

• Proven ability to drive innovation, execute projects with excellence, building new organizations

• Strong data analysis skills and experience with customer research techniques

• Global experience launching products to be successful in region and managing a global team

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.

$160,400 - $254,100

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
