We have an exciting opportunity for a Director to join our Physician Billing Department here at MSK. Join a dynamic team helping to support our patients and our amazing patient care staff.
The Director owns the Physician Billing Operation involving work of over $150 million in receievables, ensuring that the billing operations are handled efficiently and effectively resulting in the best service for our patients.
Develop and implement operating procedures designed to meet departmental goals.
Handle a large and complex operation responsible for the surgical coding and billing operation which accounts for over $285 million in billing annually.
Lead planning, budgeting, strategic discussions about future clinical activities as well as monitoring current trends and explaining variances through a variety of sophisticated reporting tools.
Analyze data to assess departmental effectiveness and drive change
Provide leadership and set the tone for entire department.
Develop leadership skills in the management group, and help to develop staff at all levels
Knowledgeable about business and the marketplace and able to apply this knowledge to advance the organization's goals.
