Director , PHSO Growth Operations

Position Summary:

The Director, PHSO Growth Operations, provides operational workstream management for the implementation of a designated PHSO client market. The Director, PHSO Growth Operations will also partner with the Vice President, PHSO Growth Operations to develop the overall operating plan. As a key member of the Growth Operations team, this individual will have an opportunity to put his/her stamp on a growing organization and will be instrumental in creating a scalable, high-quality partnership model responsible for delivering sustainable population health outcomes in collaboration with health systems, payers, and providers

Job Description:

Role and Responsibilities:

Market Operations

  • Drive execution of all operational workstreams (Provider Engagement, Care Management, etc.) in partnership with clinical, operational, and technical subject matter experts for assigned new market implementation

  • Contribute to the development of the client implementation strategy and participate in relevant solutioning efforts to address any identified gaps

  • Lead/participate in key account governance activities, including payer operating committees and provider performance meetings. Own and develop operational and executive relationships with the client.

  • Drive the development of operational and performance reporting to provide transparency on status of client implementations

  • Develop fluency in all aspects of the Lumeris model, including Provider Engagement, Care Delivery, Technology and Analytics, and Network Development

  • Keep abreast of current industry, market and policy landscape. Develop subject matter expertise in one or more of the aforementioned areas.

Internal Operations

  • Lead matrixed teams of operators, clinicians, technologists, and program managers

  • Recruit and train additional Growth Operations staff to support account activities

Experience, Qualifications, and Education:

  • B.A./B.S. and MBA preferred from a highly regarded institution of higher learning

  • 3-5 years of client facing experience within the healthcare domain

  • 3-5 years of experience working with physician practices including; provider relations, provider education and/or practice management.

  • Demonstrated change management expertise

  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in any of the following areas: Medicare Advantage, Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP), Managed Medicaid and DSRIP, Commercial HIX, managed care regulations, quality reporting, care management, population management, ACO strategy implementation and operations, and supporting providers in risk based contracts.

  • Strategic and entrepreneurial outlook with strong collaboration skills

  • Ability to operate independently and lead complex client interactions at C-level

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Team player, excellent communication skills

  • Extensive knowledge of the U.S. healthcare system

  • Exceptional client-facing skills

  • Excellent presentation skills
