As a key leader in driving our People Operations, you will have direct connection to and huge strategic impact on our organization during a transformative stage in our journey.


We are looking for a Director of People Operations to evolve the design and infrastructure of our People processes, programs, and strategy, in support of a delightful employee experience and in service to our mission to inspire people to be their best selves and do their best work.

This role will be based in our San Francisco HQ and report directly to the VP, People Operations & Total Rewards. This leader will also work closely with our leaders across multiple P&C teams including Business Partners, Recruiting, Learning & Development, People Analytics & Science as well as our Chief People & Culture Officer.


  • Bring thought leadership, tailored insights, and strategic perspective to designing, implementing, and continuously improving high-impact People initiatives

  • Partner closely with peers and stakeholders across the People & Culture team to assess existing People programs, processes, and practices, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and drive innovative solutions to enhance the employee experience

  • Champion collaborative cross-functional relationships with recruiting, internal operations, talent operations, learning & development, diversity & inclusion, total rewards, and HR business partners to ensure a best-in-class on-boarding and off-boarding experience for new employees and contingent workers

  • Lead with best practices and proven methodologies for process improvement, scalability, and automation to support long-term growth objectives

  • Create tools and ways of working that empower other P&C leaders and team members to make their programs and initiatives more successful

  • Partner with P&C and cross-functional leaders to innovate in achieving major improvements in efficiency and optimization within our People Operations


  • You are able to fly at 30,000 feet in shaping People Operations strategies and thinking about Stitch Fix's People priorities 2+ years out, and dive down to 'sea level' in helping get the work done

  • 7+ years of experience designing, building, and driving high-impact and scalable People programs and initiatives for diverse and complex organizations

  • Exceptional project management experience, making you adept at breaking down large-scale, complex problems into clear, ambitious, and manageable milestones

  • Strong understanding of industry trends and best practices, as well as a deep understanding of compliance / regulatory requirements, including immigration

  • Proven track record of success in building and developing strong, cross-functional, and high-impact teams

  • Success in effectively operationalizing complex People programs through process optimization, systems integration, end-user education and training, and thoughtful change management

About The Role We are building our People team and are looking for a Director of People Operations to work closely with the People & Talent team to build Chime's infrastructure, programs, and processes for scale. This role will report to Chime's VP of People. The Senior People Partner will interact with all levels in the organization through honest, and inclusive communications. Responsibilities * Understand organizational needs and create and drive processes, policies, and workflows that are compliant, efficient, scalable, and reflect Chime's values. * Maintain systems standards and processes related to onboarding, change management, and offboarding. * Oversee total compensation plans, salary structure, and overall compensation philosophy. Manage and administer all compensation related matters [compensation administration (merit, promotions, bonuses), salary surveys, etc.]. * Set the strategy and implement progressive and competitive benefit offerings to support Chimers' physical, behavioral and financial wellness. * Lead the evaluation of scalable technology to build Chime's infrastructure including the implementation of a new HRIS system. * Ensure People Operations audit and control processes are developed and followed in compliance with Federal and State laws as well as internal guidelines * Champion collaborative cross-functional relationships with other operations teams include legal, finance, and leaders across the company. * Lead and execute mobility and immigration programs. Work with Immigration law firms on various visa applications. * Spearhead People Operations analytics. Assess areas of opportunity, determine approach, compile and analyze data and prepare reports/recommendations to define people operations strategies related to people systems and processes. * Oversee and refresh the organization's HR policies and procedures. * Be an ambassador of company culture and drive initiative to constantly build upon and improve culture.
