RigUp is hiring a Director of Talent Operations that will be responsible for setting the strategy and leading the Talent Operations (HR) and Workplace Operations (Facilities) teams. The Director of Talent Operations will be instrumental in building scalable people processes and systems to allow RigUp to grow in a sustainable, compliant, and efficient way. What you'll be doing:
Build out and scale our talent systems and processes, including partnering with IT to evolve our HR tech stack (HRIS, onboarding tools, payroll systems, and more) to ensure we have complete data integrity and appropriate SLAs as we scale.
Work collaboratively with our Legal, Finance, and other key teams to manage the workflows, transactions, reporting, HRIS systems and record-keeping aspects of the Talent Operations function.
Lead the strategy to move toward an increased self-service model of service delivery to allow for a more scalable Talent and Workplace Operations functions.
Manage HR compliance, reporting, and risk by building and maintaining a strong internal controls environment and improving visibility into key Talent metrics (diversity, attrition, growth, and more)
Develop and manage mobility programs by creating programs and managing budgets for candidate relocation and supporting immigration needs.
Oversee onboarding, offboarding, terminations and employee leave and ensure all systems supporting such processes are operating at a high level.
Set the strategy and introduce service-level standards for the Workplace Operations team to ensure an exceptional in-person talent experience across both Austin and Denver offices.
Collaborate with the Finance team on real estate scoping, project planning, and build-out efforts.
Lead a team that maintains employee files, compensation data and frameworks, role leveling, and other key employee data.
Manage the employee benefits and perks strategy for programs including leave, educational reimbursement, 401k, wellness, and more.
What you should have:
8+ years of work experience in human resources (4+ years as a people manager) at fast-growing technology companies (HC of 500+ employees preferred).
Demonstrated operations expertise as well as a strong understanding of HR compliance and reporting requirements and the HR tech stack.
Experience communicating effectively across teams, including building and implementing cross-functional systems or processes.
Strong program and project management skills and experience building road maps and workflows and managing large projects/initiatives from a strategic perspective.
Experience operationalizing a world-class talent/employee experience.
