Director - Pediatrics (Rn), FT Days (4367-029)

The Director, Pediatrics under the direction of the Administrative Director of Nursing, Nursing Admin is responsible for the management, supervision, and evaluation of patient care with the goal of providing compassionate, coordinated, family-centered care for all patients. The Director, Pediatrics will direct all clinical area personnel to provide safe, high quality care, using evidence-based practice on a 24-hour basis. The Director, Pediatrics monitors patient outcomes and process measures, develops, implements and evaluates actions for continuous care improvement in the designated clinical area and is responsible for supervision of the Hospital as assigned by the Administrative Director of Nursing, Nursing Admin.

Required Experience

Work Experience:

• Two years clinical nursing experience required.

License/Registration/Certification:

• Current Texas RN or Multistate RN License

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within six months of hire date.

• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) within one year of hire date.
