Job Summary The Director (Administrator) of Pediatric ENT Associates collaborates with physician and health system leadership to develop strategic initiatives and tactical plans related to the quality, efficiency and financial performance of the practice. # Responsibilities
In collaboration with physician leadership,#pursues opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness, emphasizing high-quality patient care, efficiency#and financial success.
Collaboratively develops and continuously reviews strategic short-term and long-term plans to position the practice for success
Keeps physicians informed of organizational strengths and weaknesses as well as environmental opportunities and threats relevant to the practice
Oversees financial operations of the practice, including but not limited to:# -#Revenue cycle operations, Payer policies and fee schedules# -#Financial forecasting and budgeting and management of accounts payable
Works closely with practice physicians to facilitate recruitment and retention of physicians
Determines appropriate employee staffing levels in consultation with practice physicians and health system administration
Oversees staff recruitment, management development and performance evaluation of assigned employees.
Ensures appropriate health system human resource policies and procedures are followed
Provides administrative leadership in partnership with practice physicians to develop electronic data and patient management systems (EHR)
Maintains a practice environment where excellent patient satisfaction is maintained
Maintains a professional practice atmosphere with open communication and high employee morale
Develops and maintains processes to enhance relationships with referring physicians
Establishes operating policies and procedures in support of and consistent with Children#s of Alabama policies and procedures
Continuously analyzes internal operations to ensure optimal practice productivity and efficiency
Serves as the practice#s administrative liaison to various functions of the health system
Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery Education # Bachelors degree. Preference will be given to candidates with a#graduate degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field. # Experience # 5 years relevant leadership experience in physician practice management. # Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
