Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic and collaborative leader for the position of Director, Business OperationsPartnerships. Working with the Disney Streaming Services team in New York and reporting to the VP of Partnerships and Promotions, this individual will be responsible for identifying and evaluating new business opportunities with partners of The Walt Disney Company to deliver on high impact marketing initiatives. This person will play a vital role in crafting and executing a global strategy that deliver innovative promotions, creative experiences and business results. The ideal candidate will also build best practices and campaign standards, optimize global engagement models, and provide ongoing communication throughout the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for building and sustaining dynamic partnerships that leverage Disney's valuable technology and beloved IP. This is a hands-on role and will work independently while collaborating closely with marketing, programming, product management, business development, ad sales, finance, and legal professionals as part of the day-to-day execution.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years in an executive and management-facing role, preferably in Entertainment, Business Development or Strategic Planning with previous marketing work experience

  • The candidate must have proven experience in working in a complex, matrixed environment, managing multiple stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess strategic business opportunities and partnerships through ongoing research of consumer behavior, industry trends and emerging technology.

  • Manage a pipeline of internal and external programs to build awareness and grow subscribers of the upcoming Disney+ streaming service.
