We are seeking a Senior Director of Channel Partners to lead our channel partner strategy and development. This role will be responsible for building and managing relationships with channel partners, driving revenue growth, and expanding market reach. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in channel management and a strategic mindset to align partner initiatives with the company's overall goals.

Cogniac is building a Computer Vision (CV) platform which centers on increasing productivity and efficiency across a variety of business sectors. Cogniac's intuitive drag and drop interface puts AI into the hands of subject matter experts, no AI skills required. We use AI to train AI. Our platform has been utilized by Fortune 500 companies in the automotive, logistics, gaming, and transportation industries, with applicability to any Computer Vision vertical.

Our platform touches every aspect of CV development. Our clients come to us with unique datasets or none at all, relying on our platform to acquire and label the data, build models, chain multiple models and applications together, and deploy the final solution for production.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Partners and Alliances to lead our partner strategy, development, and execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building programs for and managing strategic relationships with OEMs, System Integrators, Distributors, and other channel partners. The role will be responsible for creating and implementing the Partner ecosystem that drives revenue growth and expands market reach. They will also play a pivotal role in the company's overall growth strategy and will require a strategic thinker who can implement that strategy and with a proven track record of success in Partner program creation and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner Strategy Vision: Plan, articulate, gain executive and Board of Director buy in, and execute a Partner and Alliance Program

  • Channel Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive channel strategy. Execute on that strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets in alignment with the company's overall business objectives

  • Partner Recruitment: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new Partners that complement the company's products and services. Establish criteria for Partner selection and maintain a healthy partner ecosystem

  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and new Partners to ensure alignment with company goals, product knowledge, and effective sales and marketing collaboration

  • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through Partners by setting and achieving sales targets, implementing effective marketing programs, and regularly reviewing partner performance

  • Training and Enablement: Develop training and enablement programs for Partners, spanning System Integrators and distributors) to ensure they have the knowledge and resources necessary to effectively sell and support the company's products and services

  • Program Development: Create and manage Partner programs, incentives, and promotions to motivate partners and drive sales

  • Market Analysis: Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats and adjust the Partner strategy accordingly

  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the budget for Partner initiatives, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to achieve desired outcomes

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, product development, engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of Partner activities into the overall business strategy

  • Reporting and Analytics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of Partner programs; Provide regular reports and analysis to senior management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Partner management, with a track record of success in driving Partner originated revenue growth

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and lead a high-performing Partner team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective relationships with Partners and internal stakeholders

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute Partner strategies that align with business objectives

  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting to make data-driven decisions

  • Knowledge of the industry, market trends, and competitive landscape

  • Proven ability to create and manage budgets effectively

  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills

  • Willingness to travel as necessary to meet with partners and attend industry events

  • Strong and decisive decision-making ability on routine matters, including budget development and allocation, resource expenditure, staffing and policies and procedures

  • Must be high-energy, self-motivated, service-oriented, and highly competitive

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a high-energy environment
