Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of Amazon.com and a global leader in Cloud Computing, is seeking an experienced and talented Director of Partner Marketing to lead the global team that markets to, with and through members of the AWS Partner Network. This role will be responsible for leading partner marketing programs with all partner types including Consulting Partners (Systems Integrators, Managed Service Providers, Consultancies, VARs) and Technology Partners (ISV, SaaS, Strategic Alliance). This is a unique opportunity to have a key marketing leadership role in the AWS business.
In this role, the successful candidate will partner with the AWS partner business development team to ensure that we have excellent communication and GTM engagement with the AWS partner community. To do this, a deep knowledge of AWS partner solutions and how partners go to market is critical. Key responsibilities include leading the engagement with the AWS partner business development organization and develop and execute a marketing plan to support their strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities include:
Lead, recruit and manage a worldwide team of partner marketing professionals.
Own all aspects of operational planning for the Partner Marketing function globally, including defining priorities, resourcing coverage models, investment plans and functional goals.
Build an effective marketing plan to drive awareness, adoption, and usage of AWS services through partner driven activities.
Develop joint marketing campaigns and programs with APN Partners to drive new customer acquisition and qualified opportunities, resulting in more revenue and sales pipeline for AWS.
Define and operate a field partner marketing coverage model that aligns partner marketing resources with AWS Sales to help the AWS field organization grow AWS business through, or in cooperation with, APN Partners.
Work closely with the AWS partner business development team and product marketing to develop joint value proposition and solution messaging for relevant audiences for utilization across all marketing channels.
Develop and execute a portfolio of "to partner" marketing programs to drive engagement and loyalty with the AWS Partner Network and to ensure the AWS message is reaching a broad audience of partners.
Develop and deliver sponsorship programs that enable partners to reach the AWS audience, deliver high ROI for sponsoring partners and deliver against a sponsorship revenue goal.
