Golin San Francisco is looking for a Director of Paid Media to lead digital paid media strategy for two of our predominant global tech and b2b clients. This dynamic role will help to solve business issues by driving a paid media vision with our search and social media teams. And, you'll be an important part of our growing digital team across the US.

What You'll Do:
Drive the strategic vision and development of paid media roadmaps to define how digital plays a role in achieving client vision/goals
Establish meaningful and measureable KPI's that align with client business objectives
Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams, including creative, to insure we are strategically aligned to idea. Support by ensuring content is aligned to ad formats and features used by major platforms
Identify new opportunities to leverage paid media to drive growth and engagement for our clients
Develop and maintain relationships with various platforms (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube) on behalf of Golin and our clients
Be a trend watcher and spotter keeping teams and clients apprised of relevant trends and opportunities that can add value to our clients business. Share best practices amongst the broader US digital team
Teach and grow understanding of the paid media ecosystem with internal team members and clients
Lead, coach and develop junior talent
What You Have:
Bachelors degree in marketing, business or related field
Proven digital advertising experience
Successful track-record of developing trusting client relationships
Thorough understanding of the technical aspects of online marketing channels such as web analytics, audience targeting, data feed, pixel remarketing, platform-specific ad format, etc
A history of developing and driving integrated paid-media programs
Proven experience leading successful digital communications and engagement campaigns with measureable results across paid digital touchpoints including social, search, display and influencers
Deep understanding of digital and social media buying landscape
Strong understanding of brand and corporate communications
Excellent presentation and writing skills
Desire for identifying opportunities on behalf of client business and/or Golin
Some experience with global brands (not a must but we'd love it)
