The Director of Organizational Development will work with senior leaders to implement strategic initiatives to drive organizational performance at ABM. Responsible for creating and implementing leadership and talent development strategies, succession planning actions, organizational effectiveness initiatives and cultural change efforts. Determines approaches to integrating Talent Management, Performance Management, Team Effectiveness and Leadership Development to support the organization. Responsible for executing and managing enterprise level programs that enable, promote and advance the company's culture.

  • Assess business needs in the areas of talent management, succession planning, performance management, and change management in collaboration with stakeholders; provide solutions that support the achievement of business goals and objectives.

  • Implement, refine, and execute the ongoing talent review process. Lead succession planning activities. Consult with senior leaders about talent pipelines, succession candidates and their development needs.

  • Consult with leaders on organizational development and change management needs, supporting and facilitating customized strategies and solutions that drive sustainable change and build leader/organizational capability.

  • Lead the performance management process including program strategy, annual goal setting, and year-end processes. Support year-end calibration sessions and ensure performance management activities align with reward and recognition programs.

  • Liaises with senior leaders and recommends most appropriate courses of action pertaining to leadership development and performance management strategies.

Minimum Requirements

  • 10+ years of work experience in all aspects of Human Resources and Organizational Development

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. Master's degree with emphasis on Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, or Business preferred

  • Demonstrated experience applying advanced knowledge of Change Management, Organization Design, and Leadership Development to solve business challenges.

  • Demonstrated experience building strong relationships with Human Resources colleagues and working collaboratively across all disciplines.

  • Strong prioritization skills with the ability to handle multiple competing deliverables.

  • Possesses a high degree of emotional intelligence and can be flexible to adapt easily.

  • Quick learner and problem solver who thinks outside the box to find solutions with a track record of successful results delivery.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including formal presentation skills.

  • Up to 25% travel

The Business Development Director targets referral sources and other community resources from among the professional medical community, various community associations for the purposes of promoting services and on-site assessment of prospective residents. The primary responsibility will be to manage relationships of key referral sources and other community resources for the purpose of: educating referral sources to our products and services and to expedite care coordination and follow-up to ensure successful resident transition. Essential Functions * Create, plan and implement with Sales and Marketing Team and Resident Program Director events to bring in prospective residents such as but not limited to: seminars, speakers, themed events, and family nights. * Develop and maintain a good working relationship with residents, families and professional providers of care. * Defines, develops key macro referral sources and maintains relationships with them working closely with the Sales teams - handling the customer service aspects of a new referral or service issue. * Provides ongoing product-service education as a result of sales effort within the marketing to trade organizations, hospital departments, physicians and others * Participates in professional societies and activities related to senior-living industry as appropriate. * Works with RDSM to develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plan to achieve quarterly move-in objectives. * Plans and executes territory call objectives to build and maintain multiple senior-related community resource networks. * Communicates in timely manner with the Executive Director, Regional Director of Sales and Marketing, and Director of Sales and Marketing regarding initiatives in progress that may generate referrals to the community * Manages and maintains a thorough working proficiency and keeps professional contact records current in the sales database * Fully comprehends and can explain to others the basic legal aspects of sales contracts, language and terms * Maintains a working knowledge of all software programs. * Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent information. * Provide assistance to the Sales and Marketing Director with special assigned projects. * Possesses strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines * Interacts professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization, residents, family members, etc. * Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications * Bachelor degree from a four-year college or university. Or two to three years' experience and or training, or equivalent of education and experience.
