The Director of Organizational Development will work with senior leaders to implement strategic initiatives to drive organizational performance at ABM. Responsible for creating and implementing leadership and talent development strategies, succession planning actions, organizational effectiveness initiatives and cultural change efforts. Determines approaches to integrating Talent Management, Performance Management, Team Effectiveness and Leadership Development to support the organization. Responsible for executing and managing enterprise level programs that enable, promote and advance the company's culture.
Assess business needs in the areas of talent management, succession planning, performance management, and change management in collaboration with stakeholders; provide solutions that support the achievement of business goals and objectives.
Implement, refine, and execute the ongoing talent review process. Lead succession planning activities. Consult with senior leaders about talent pipelines, succession candidates and their development needs.
Consult with leaders on organizational development and change management needs, supporting and facilitating customized strategies and solutions that drive sustainable change and build leader/organizational capability.
Lead the performance management process including program strategy, annual goal setting, and year-end processes. Support year-end calibration sessions and ensure performance management activities align with reward and recognition programs.
Liaises with senior leaders and recommends most appropriate courses of action pertaining to leadership development and performance management strategies.
10+ years of work experience in all aspects of Human Resources and Organizational Development
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. Master's degree with emphasis on Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, or Business preferred
Demonstrated experience applying advanced knowledge of Change Management, Organization Design, and Leadership Development to solve business challenges.
Demonstrated experience building strong relationships with Human Resources colleagues and working collaboratively across all disciplines.
Strong prioritization skills with the ability to handle multiple competing deliverables.
Possesses a high degree of emotional intelligence and can be flexible to adapt easily.
Quick learner and problem solver who thinks outside the box to find solutions with a track record of successful results delivery.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including formal presentation skills.
