Job Details

The Automation & Decisioning team at Salesforce builds and delivers Einstein Next Best Action, Lightning Flow, Process Builder, and other Salesforce workflow and process automation tools. We're looking to add a Product Manager at the Director level to drive the evolution of Salesforce Decisioning & Automation solutions in close cooperation with engineering, customers and other Salesforce stakeholders.

Next Best Action, a rapidly growing new product that combines AI, business rules and logic, is a revenue-generating product business and this job will provide exposure to a wide range of product ownership experience, ranging from technical feature design to revenue pipeline tracking. Few Salesforce product jobs offer this broad an opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Define product requirements at a detailed level that demonstrates mastery of your domain. Build and maintain roadmaps for one or more products and work with other PMs to deliver a unified vision.

  • Inspire and collaborate with teams of architects, engineers, and doc writers to implement features.

  • Facilitate communication throughout the development process between a variety of internal teams as well as customer-facing teams, ensuring that products satisfy customers' needs and are highly adopted.

  • Serve as a product evangelist with Marketing, Sales, Support, and more to help them understand the vision, roadmap and best practices.

  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of your products.

  • Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction.

  • Be the trusted advisor during customer interactions, events, and through social media.

Requirements

  • A passion for implementing technical solutions to complex business processes

  • Drive to build outstanding products.

  • You should be able to code, though you don't have to be an engineer.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial.

  • Creative thinker who thrives on solving challenging problems.

  • Can hold your own in debates with technical architects, engineers, and designers.

  • Grasp the big picture, while still delivering on the details.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience managing teams using agile/scrum methodologies.

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated experience working with and productizing decisioning or process automation technologies

  • Demonstrated experience as a consumer/user/customer of the Salesforce platform

  • Coding skills
