  • Provides leadership and direction to manufacturing performance for facility(ies) to support company objectives; develops roadmap

  • Assumes responsibility for costs, operations, quality and quantity of production collaborating with Function Leaders where applicable

  • Assists in short and long-range strategy development for BCT's and Plants

  • Accountable for Site(s) Operations Strategy, collaborating with Function Owners

  • Develops and incorporates Continuous Improvement initiatives ensuring product performance, compliance and capacity planning

  • Ensures facilities and equipment are designed, built and maintained to reduce lead times, costs and no defects

  • Collaborates with and coordinates other functions activities in order to deliver Plant goals (HR, Finance, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales)

  • Oversees and manages the activities of: production, engineering, warehouse/inventory management

  • Drives performance and accountability; develops a high performance workforce

  • Creates methods and metrics for measuring performance

  • Performs other functions as required.

Job Requirements

  • Technical or business Bachelor's degree, with Master's degree(s) in business or technical field desired.

  • 10+ of high-tech manufacturing leadership experience that afforded exposure to all areas of plant operations. Some international experience a plus.

  • Specialized Knowledge:
    Strong computer skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

VIEW JOBS 8/17/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-11-15T00:00 This position is responsible for both forecasting and sales and operations (S&OP) planning for our operations in the Americas. It involves working closely with Sales, Production and Products & Services to ensure that our end-to-end supply chain is always well balanced and in control. To do this, the S&OP Manager works closely with other supply chain professionals to consider demand, inventory and supply, including uncertainty and risks associated. The S&OP will communicate and facilitate decision-making amongst a large stakeholder network throughout our operations in the Americas. Specific duties include: * Drive and facilitate monthly S&OP process with sales companies and production companies balancing the end-to-end supply/demand plan. * Ensure efficient and intelligent handling of forecast deviation striving towards best customer satisfaction within the limitations of ensuring stability in the supply chain. * Continuously monitor the forecast accuracy and forecast status on own business segment and sales companies. * Work closely with forecast stakeholders in sales companies in order to continuously improve forecast strategy, forecast processes and forecast accuracy. * Maintain close relations with stakeholders in product marketing and product development in order to manage phase in and phase out of products and drive life cycle management in the supply chain. * Participate in ongoing New Product Development projects, and ensure that our supply chain can support and ensure a successful launch. * Share long forecast projections with procurement and factories, to enable the supply chain to gear correctly for significant changes in demand. * Participate in and provide input to monthly Executive S&OP process. This position involves occasional (10%) travel to our offices in Denmark, Mexico, and Arkansas Job Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, or a related field. In the alternative to a Bachelor's Degree, will accept seven years of experience in supply chain management, logistics management or a related position. Must also have two years of related supply chain experience, which included the following: * Exposure to a company's complete value chain, including inbound logistics, outbound logistics, marketing and sales, service and pricing, procurement, technology development, and infrastructure development. * Experience working in a multinational supply chain setting. * Use of performance management tools and operational KPI's. * Use of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. * User of ERP systems, such as Infor LN and SAP APO. * Regular communication with peers and business partners orally, and in writing.
