Role Description:
The TTS Operations Core Accounts Operations Readiness Program Management role will be responsible for overseeing the successful operational readiness of the build of new DDA system PISMO, and the branch conversions from Flexcube and Systematics DDA/Product processors to end state target technology across global branches, starting in the US, and then moving across other branches globally over a 4-5 year program. This is a critical modernization program for our accounts infrastructure globally, to better serve our client needs and new business opportunities. This operations role is focused on developing the overall operational readiness strategy, including operational requirements, for delivery of this conversion and ensuring Operations groups are positioned for successful implementation of the platforms. This position plays a key role in working with TTS product and technology teams to develop the requirements, rollout strategy and readiness programs required for this implementation.
This role will work directly with the Technology Heads, Global Product Heads and Regional Operations Heads and will focus on consolidating and transforming our DDA applications globally and moving functions into proper end state systems. This is to better support and leverage the new and evolving innovations, with a focus on speed, capacity, 24/7 transparency and immediate access to data. It will work across Operations and Service groups globally to ensure readiness. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact, to ensure operational needs are met and delivered. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are needed.
Detailed Day to Day Responsibilities:
Help define/implement the strategic core accounts branch conversion roadmap for the next 5 years.
Manage the operations program governance and determine/drive adherence to agreed processes, procedures and standards.
Ensure that initiatives meet promised results.
Work with the Global and Regional Operational Heads to capture their platform requirements and operational readiness activities and integrate this into a holistic global operations readiness strategy.
Oversee the delivery of operations objectives and work with product owners to ensure business case/cost benefit analysis is in line with operations objectives and creates/maintains KPIs and KRIs associated to business goals.
Set the standards and review senior management reporting and discussion materials to provide transparency and drive timely decision making.
Ensure risks and issues are properly identified and managed.
Anticipate delays and solve issues that arise.
Ensure optimal communication within/outside the team as well as escalation as needed. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Specific Projects and Deliverables: The Core Accounts platform modernization journey will span 5-7 years to migrate all key markets to the new system. The role will require program management skills and data analytical skills to work with technology, operations, product and production support teams to prioritize requirements, operational readiness activities, and the migration efforts, whilst ensuring the benefits are clearly measured and tracked. It will ensure operational needs are met globally. This role will be coordinating preparation of operations to migrate functions and clients, with minimal disruption and maintaining a tightly controlled environment
