As Director, Operational Planning and Materials in McKinney, TX, you will report directly to the Global Vice President of Operations. You will lead the global process for Pressure Management that brings together information of major departments - sales, marketing, inventory, procurement, manufacturing, and finance - to decide how best to handle company resources to satisfy customer demand. This includes optimizing material availability and inventory levels, planning process, and training.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Provide timely and appropriate Operational input for President Council, Board Meeting, & Profit Review requirements
Communicate SIOP strategies and deepen organizational contacts globally to build foundational knowledge
Comprehend and detail the Forecasts to Purchase Order process that starts with Sales / Marketing driven forecast and ends in purchase orders to suppliers at each site
Carry out a Plan For Every Part (PFEP) in Material Planning and work with site owners to establish rules and logic for all item master settings in the PEFP
Understand and document the process to develop the forecast & collaborate with owners to improve our process with available intelligence
Own the process of reporting of all global operations metrics that measures key operations and material management metrics
Familiarize self and develop tools for Oracle, SAP & others systems to drive efficiency
Own and facilitate various kaizen events when required to improve business performance
Act as an expert resource to sites needing in-depth knowledge of Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning, ERP systems etc.
Benchmark internal & external practice to stay update and audit current process as needed
Create and maintain standard work templates, tools, and logic flow for global use
Facilitate other special operations projects required to improve business performance

For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain or other related field
7 - 10+ years' experience improving delivery and reducing inventory strategies to include SIOP, Lean and other Planning tools
Management experience at a senior level/able to empower and lead teams
Strong leadership, organizational, written, oral and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to get things done while working with cross functional teams and at different levels of the organization
Ability to travel domestic/internationally 25% of the time
Legal Authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Master's in Business Administration, Engineering or other related field
Experience (7 + years) in cross-functional operational workforce in Manufacturing Material Management
