In this position - located in our Houston, Texas office - you will lead the development of state-of-the-art software products that comprise sophisticated SCADA control systems, hydraulic model, liquide and gas operation applications, extended supply chain and support services. In this position, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage software development projects and personnel to create new products and maintain existing applications.
  • Manage resources to meet project plans and schedule requirements.
  • Manage software quality assurance efforts to ensure products are adequately tested and meet OSI quality standards.
  • Identify and deploy software development best practices including agile, continuous integration and DevOps.
  • Work with stakeholders and product managers to ensure products being developed comply with technical specifications and project schedules and yield a highly competitive end product.

Requirements

Minimum

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience in technical oil & gas software development and / or pipeline midstream applications.
  • Ability to provide clear direction, manage performance, identify developmental needs, and lead, coach and guide employees.
  • Strong time/project management and organization skills.
  • Ability to remain flexible and effective under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • 20+ years of technical experience in oil & gas software IT or OT development.
  • Experience in gas utility industry developing control system technology software.
