In this position - located in our Houston, Texas office - you will lead the development of state-of-the-art software products that comprise sophisticated SCADA control systems, hydraulic model, liquide and gas operation applications, extended supply chain and support services. In this position, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage software development projects and personnel to create new products and maintain existing applications.
  • Manage resources to meet project plans and schedule requirements.
  • Manage software quality assurance efforts to ensure products are adequately tested and meet OSI quality standards.
  • Identify and deploy software development best practices including agile, continuous integration and DevOps.
  • Work with stakeholders and product managers to ensure products being developed comply with technical specifications and project schedules and yield a highly competitive end product.



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience in technical oil & gas software development and / or pipeline midstream applications.
  • Ability to provide clear direction, manage performance, identify developmental needs, and lead, coach and guide employees.
  • Strong time/project management and organization skills.
  • Ability to remain flexible and effective under pressure in a fast-paced environment.


  • 20+ years of technical experience in oil & gas software IT or OT development.
  • Experience in gas utility industry developing control system technology software.

As a Partner Development Manager within AWS, you will have the exciting opportunity to deliver on our strategy to accelerate adoption of AWS cloud computing services by partners and customers in Oil & Gas. Responsibilities will include driving C-level and field relationships with your partners and with the AWS sales field, and executing joint GTM plans globally. You will be responsible for driving top line revenue growth and overall market adoption of the partner solutions, by establishing and growing business and technical relationships while managing the day-to-day partner interactions. The ideal candidate will have both a business background that enables them to engage at the CXO level, as well as a sales background that enables them to manage joint GTM efforts and to easily interact with enterprise customers and sales executives. This person should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, as well as build and convey compelling value propositions. The position also requires a strong technical acumen and familiarity with cloud services. AWS partners develop and deploy solutions for customers in Oil & Gas industry (exploration & production / upstream, midstream, downstream) in areas such as seismic processing & imaging, reservoir modeling & simulation, well and field planning, production optimization, and petrotechnical data management and optimization. AWS customers are developing some of the most exciting and innovative new businesses, and partners are using cloud technologies from AWS such as AI and Machine Learning, IoT, compute and storage to dramatically accelerate innovation.
