The Leader of Off-Premise will be responsible for managing the strategic direction and implementation for Off Premise dining solutions for IHOP. This is a critical role that is responsible for seeing thru the integration of major marketing and culinary initiatives related to Off Premise - including but not limited to management of DSP's (Delivery Service Provider), online and catering menu and sales, applicable website, app and innovative ways to grow the off-premise business.
The IHOP Off-Premise Leader will be required to meet/exceed revenue targets and to have advanced experience and capabilities in marketing Off Premise including measurement, reporting and analytical skills to ensure revenue maximization. In addition, the management of the DSP's will include relationship development and channel strategy as well as contract terms and coordination. This role will be expected to work cross functionally and advise with all levels of internal and external leadership, lead cross-functional teams and ensure all programs and initiatives are complete and prepared for implementation, execution, integration, and evaluation…resulting in driving overall brand performance.
This leader will report directly to the VP of Marketing and key collaborators will be VP Strategic Ops, VP IT and VP Culinary for IHOP.
Responsibilities:
Manages portfolio of off premise projects and programs; manages projects simultaneously
Manages projects with varying degrees of complexity, definition, and risk
Leads cross-functional initiatives from inception through testing, implementation, and evaluation
Develops project strategies, success criteria, plan, budget, risk, quality standards, and timeline with cross functional resources
Develops and execute testing and implementation plan for multi-year brand initiatives
Serves as primary lead on emerging concepts and other strategic initiatives
Defines path to resolution, coordinates and integrates efforts across multiple projects
Leads cross functional team of subject matter experts; identifies resources required to meet the needs of the initiative; gains alignment from senior leaders on resource commitment
Drives results through others by influencing, gaining alignment, and effectively facilitating cross-functional activities
Builds strong relationships and works directly with franchisees to improve their off-premise business
Independently determines project risks and issues, identifies options and recommended solutions - elevates as necessary to drive results in a timely manner
Frequently interacts with senior level franchise and company leadership to:
Gain alignment
Develop and present win-win business solutions to meet various environmental needs
Create and present professional level updates as needed
Consults with leadership to develop / provide operational recommendations to improve sales, profitability, and efficiencies
Develops cost/benefit models, conducts financial analysis to identify alternative business courses of action and provides recommendations with supporting analysis for executive decision making
Works directly with Franchisees, their designated points of contact and restaurant operators on strategic initiatives
Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports
Manage and drive the catering category across B2C and B2B channels
Responsible for the strategy of the catering promotions
Skills & Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field or equivalent professional experience
Minimum 7+ years Food Services industry specifically working on off premise dining solutions and sales
Experience working with well-known brands and high-profile campaigns
Demonstrated project lifecycle experience including business case development, request for proposal creation, design, testing, implementation planning, issue resolution, and post-implementation support
Demonstrate advanced ability to implement and execute off strategic direction
Superior problem solving and decision-making skills
Excellent presentation skills and executive presence
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft office applications, including MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint. MS Project proficiency a plus
Base Salary: $180,000
