Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in a related field.
Proven background in both day and overnight camp management
Education and demonstrated expertise in working with youth.
Successful grant writing experience.
Partnership development
Track record of successfully leading and managing a diverse workforce.
Proficient in the development and execution of youth camp programs.
Experience in establishing and implementing protocols for the safety and security of minors.
Proven success in grant writing.
Strong skills in managing budgets effectively.
Active engagement or membership with the American Camp Association (ACA).
Position Summary
The Program Specialist oversees, develops, and directs the youth programming portfolio at the Georgia Center. Programs include a robust portfolio of summer camps and quarterly enrichment programs. The Program Specialist will be responsible for all youth programs' enrollment, budgeting, revenue, expenses and outside funding. This position facilitates programs to meet the highest quality standards and invoke best practices in youth development while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

Duties/Responsibilities
Coordinate year-round youth programming offered by the Georgia Center for Continuing Education and Hotel. Provide year-round support in conjunction with the youth program coordinator to maintain, manage and support the daily tasks associated with running and managing youth programs. Oversee annual revenue goal budget in excess of $900,000 in support of organizational mission.
Percentage of time 50 Duties/Responsibilities
Research, identify and execute new opportunities for sponsored work, collaborations and sponsorships to support new and existing programs. Build campus and off campus partnerships in support of program offerings.
Percentage of time 20 Duties/Responsibilities
Supervision of Youth Staff and Instructors. Provide leadership and strategic guidance to the youth team. Establish goals and priorities for partnerships and programs to ensure the long-term success of the program portfolio.
Percentage of time 15 Duties/Responsibilities
Research and apply for grant opportunities to support youth programs. Manage execution of grants in support of the organizations mission. Complete all reporting for grant compliance.

Assist with Georgia Center strategic mission, duties and goals where assigned
