JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a proactive, confident self-starter that thrives in competitive situations to lead and grow our Treasury Management business. As the Director of Treasury Management, you will lead all aspects of our Treasury Management department which includes product development, client acquisition, relationship management, and customer satisfaction. This role offers the unique opportunity to champion new initiatives aimed at inspiring innovation, driving growth, and providing excellent service to our clients. As a leader in the organization, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to spearhead the development and delivery of new/improved treasury management solutions that position the bank at the front of industry excellence and a valuable partner to our client businesses.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Develop and implement strategies to cultivate and strengthen relationships with clients, including corporations, financial institutions, and public sector entities. Serve as a primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their needs, objectives, and challenges.

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives to drive client engagement, retention, and growth. Identify market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.

  • Develop and execute strategies to expand our client portfolio and drive revenue growth within the Treasury Management department. Identify opportunities to cross-sell treasury management products and services to existing clients. Proactively pursue new client opportunities and partnerships to acquire new business and corporate accounts.

  • Lead and mentor a team of Treasury specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive performance and professional development. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the client relationships team.

  • Conduct thorough assessments with clients to understand their treasury management needs, priorities, and pain points. Leverage client insights and feedback to inform the development of tailored solutions and service offerings.

  • Develop appropriate training for frontline staff on treasury management products and services; visit branches quarterly to provide support and training for sales efforts.

  • Oversee the management and optimization of the treasury management product portfolio. Plans, develops, and monitors the treasury management product line including product enhancement, continuation, or deletion options to enhance the profitability of the bank.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, operations, and technology, to develop innovative treasury management solutions that address client needs and deliver value. Ensure timely and successful implementation of solutions, meeting or exceeding client expectations

  • Serve as an advocate for clients within the organization, ensuring their needs are understood and prioritized. Proactively address client issues, concerns, and escalations to drive prompt resolution and maintain high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

  • Establish key performance indicators and metrics to monitor and evaluate client acquisition, value generation, client satisfaction, and retention. Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization. Prepare and present regular reports and updates to senior management.

Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CTP, CFA) preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury management, with a proven track record of leadership and achievement.

  • Strong understanding of treasury management principles, practices, and products.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.

  • Proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and risk management techniques.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to treasury management activities.

General hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; long hours and weekend work on occasion; travel and reliable transportation are required.
