Duties
The Director of Technology will lead the District in technology and data strategic planning, budgeting, and implementation of systemwide hardware, software, and web applications. These tasks will occur within an educational setting with supporting infrastructure, information systems services (e.g.
Help Desk), Data Systems, and operations. The Director of Technology should have a complete understanding of existing technology platforms in use at OPRFHS and be knowledgeable of future trends and applications as they relate to the educational setting. In addition, the Director of Technology will lead the application of technology for operational efficiencies.
Qualifications
4 year degree in technology required. Advanced degree preferred.
Advanced knowledge of all technology in use by the district. 5+ years experience with technology support; Microsoft, Apple and Google products in general and the following products specifically is preferred: Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft networking, Microsoft AD, Google Applications and Apple hardware and software, Microsoft Excel and Access. 4-5 years experience with database products in general and the following products specifically is preferred: Microsoft SQL Server, Progress databases, and Crystal reporting, Skyward, Naviance and Docufide.
Salary/Benefits
$115,000 to $130,000 depending on qualifications and experience; competitive benefits package.
