As a member of the executive team and reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of Talent Management & Development will provide overall direction for the Human Resources function including the ongoing support to enable the HR organization to fully function as strategic business partners; building a solid rapport with the senior executive team and other key leaders throughout the organization; and leading the development and implementation of people strategies that enable the firm to successfully achieve the firms Vision.

Maximize participation in performance management and development programs.
Improvement of internal promotion rates.
Key Essential Functions:
Build and lead high performing teams through recruiting, developing and retaining top talent.
Formulate and direct best practices to provide effective and consistent human resource management throughout the system.
Champion leadership development programs and succession programs that ensure talented bench strength across the organization.
Support the development of system-wide retention strategies as well as recruitment strategies to address talent gaps in the current organization or in succession slates.
Ensure that diversity initiatives are developed and integrated into all people strategies
Ensure that performance management practices are consistently administered across the organization.
Oversee recognition programs such as years of service, promotions and appointments.
Ensure employee policies and practices, such as the employee handbook, are administered consistently and fairly across the firm.
Oversee the ongoing modifications to the benefits practices to assure that all employee benefits are competitive, efficiently designed and administered, and cost-effective
Champion an environment of continuous learning and development for all employees through a variety of programs and practices.
Champion employee relations strategies designed to create an environment that encourages maximum individual and team effectiveness and engagement.
Provide leadership coaching and consulting to leaders on complex employee relations issues.
Oversee activity of third-party service providers such as immigration attorney, external recruiters, benefits broker, and training and development consultants.

Masters degree in Human Resources or MBA preferred.
SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred.
Strong experience and skills in managing talent to ensure that the organization is positioned for growth and excellence
An ability to influence senior executives, establish and maintain partnerships, and provide thought leadership.
Preference for applicants from the AEC industry and/or allied service industries.
