Tapjoy is seeking a natural connector, someone who is strong, resilient, and motivated by a fast paced environment. The right person would come in and lead the recruiting efforts globally across our US, EMEA and APAC offices. This person should possess strong levels of empathy and understanding while at the same time possess a will to overcome any obstacle and charge head first into action. You will help us build and execute an effective recruiting strategy to support high growth, while at the same time analyzing our structures in place and offering suggestions to improve and streamline processes. You would be the voice of Recruiting and Retention and a strong business partner. You would do this all while supporting a high performing team with a smile on your face.

Your Mission:

  • Work closely with the VP of HR, the existing recruiting team and the leadership team to articulate strategic priorities, deliverables, and timelines for Recruiting

  • Work closely to ensure that the candidate experience is the biggest priority

  • we attract great people because we CARE

  • Serve as an owner of all the processes related to the streamlining and automation of recruitment

  • Ensure that communication between hiring managers, candidates, and the recruiting team flows

  • Lead the recruiting team by developing new and enhancing existing recruiting processes and strategies

  • Define and implement consistent hiring goals while managing resources internally and externally

  • Stay hands-on as a senior technical recruiter and take responsibility for filling the most challenging roles

  • Provide the executive team with weekly updated pipeline/status reports

  • Ensure that time to hire is reduced - be ready to kick down road blocks with confidence and swagger

  • Build and deliver interview training courses for all employees

  • 10+ years of recruiting experience in a dynamically growing tech company

How You Impact Our Vision Utilize knowledge of our business and its priorities to develop recruiting short and long term strategies that ensure an ongoing pipeline of top, diverse talent across key talent segments. Provide guidance, facilitation, and collaboration for all hiring managers and leaders in recruiting, selecting, interviewing and candidate experience. Source, hire, lead and mentor an outstanding recruiting team across the globe. in partnership with the Talent Acquisitions Programs team, leverage and implement employer branding efforts and strategy on various social media and recruiting/networking platforms. Execute and drive accountability for an efficient, dynamic full-cycle recruiting process. Stay ahead of external trends and creative recruiting and sourcing techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices. Create and implement workforce planning/reporting on key recruiting metrics to measure team effectiveness, manage capacity and provide actionable insights. Finding extraordinary new talent to add to the PagerDuty team. About You Demonstrated experience leading a distributed team in a rapidly growing and very fast paced environment, primarily supporting Sales, Engineering and Services teams. 4+ years in a leadership capacity/leading a team with hands-on recruiting experience at all levels. Critically engaged in recruiter/sourcer performance, protecting priorities across the talent pipeline and getting engaged and involved where needed. Skilled at using data and analytics to manage performance, develop insights, tell stories and support sound decision-making. Ability to build relationships with leadership, engage and provide counsel and support to other leaders across the business, build credibility and influence, know when to push back and when to compromise. Ability to articulate PagerDuty's value proposition and purpose to an internal and external audience. Ability and interest in sourcing and recruiting for roles directly, as needed. Infectious enthusiasm for building innovative sourcing strategies globally. Strong interpersonal savvy and self-awareness with strong written and verbal communication skills Prior experience with Lever is a plus.
