Towards that end, we are looking for a Director of Supply Chain & FM Strategy to be a leader on this team to drive client engagements that result in both growing team revenues, enhance preferred vendor integration, as well as substantial growth in for the business through service innovation.
Who Are You?
You have hands-on experience in Supply Chain and Facilities Management. This could be from prior work in sourcing and/or FM, supply chain line management with your company, or work in the supply chain or FM practice of a management consulting firm.
You stay up-to-date regarding partners, vendors and supply chain trends and their impact to the business of your clients. You have workshop facilitation/consulting experience, perhaps as an internal consultant or support function at your company. You have a mind for the FM business and supply chain.
This includes business case generation, workshops management, program management, vendor management, financial analyses, and the tradeoffs between cost, service levels and standards of practice. You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, sometimes ambiguous work environment. You will coordinate globally an FM community of practice to identify and share best practices.
You are both "big picture" strategic and detail/program management - oriented. You equally enjoy interacting with clients, vendors, teammates, and other members of the CBRE team. You have strong FM Background.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You support Sourcing and FM management as you are formulate strategies with CBRE professionals on sales opportunities that include a supply chain analysis to cement a service win.
You work with SC and FM leaders who work with real estate professionals to identify potential supply chain consulting opportunities with their clients.
You work with your account colleagues to prepare consulting projects and Business cases and assist in their delivery to the client.
You focus on the successful management strategic programs and execution of projects for regional and global clients. Primary duties will include:
Overall project management, including accountability for overall project scope, schedule, cost, quality and client expectations.
Ensuring ongoing alignment of project objectives and expectations between the client stakeholders (regional leads and global service owners GSOs), SC leadership, regional FM leads and project team members.
Execution of the project work plan in a timely and efficient manner.
Capable of interfacing and driving collaboration and connectivity between our Client Global Service ownership team; our key partners and vendors in the regions; and our Sourcing team, along with the regional FM leadership teams from both client and CBRE side.
Facilitation of workshops with Vendors and key CBRE and Client stakeholders to drive innovations and best practice sharing within our regional and global teams.
Execution of timely and relevant project communications among all relevant stakeholder groups.
Development of high quality deliverables that exceed project objectives.
Manage project risk during all phases of the project lifecycle, by proactively identifying potential emerging issues and raising concerns with your managers.
Foster a fun, challenging and collaborative work environment for your project teams that enhances team morale and motivates the team to high performance.
You support the SC and community of regional FM leadership team in the development and refinement of team infrastructure as we look to continuously improve the practice. Elements of this infrastructure include:

May provide formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination.
Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff.
Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university required. Master's degree (MA, MS or MBA) preferred.
A minimum of five (5) years' experience in the supply chain, sourcing and/or FM industry, preferably managing a line function, work within procurement, or supply chain/FM consulting.
Experience in supply chain business analysis, e.g., business case development, financial analyses (NPV, ROI, cash flow calculations), insource/outsource analyses, 3PL evaluation and selection, etc.
A demonstrated track record of leading and delivering on projects.
An understanding of sophisticated supply chain and FM analytical tools.
An understanding of our preferred supplier network at a regional and global level, and key program available to leverage buying power and innovation.
A proven ability to translate client requirements into project objectives and subsequent project work plans.
Demonstrated ability to translate business, financial and supply chain data into useful insights and recommendations.
Experience in managing teams not physically collocated.
Excellent client communication and management skills and experience.
Leadership and mentorship skills to help develop junior consultants or regional SMEs.

Published articles or conference presentations.
Leadership of a supply chain team.
Leadership of an FM team.
Demonstrated and/or documented subject matter expertise in any of the areas discussed above.
