The Director leads the strategies, tactics, governance, analysis and solutions supporting the supply chain master data needs for Dentsply Sirona. Responsible for partnering cross-functionally with the Product Groups / IT / Operations / Finance / Digital teams to drive master data quality and data governance capabilities throughout the supply chain. This leader will be responsible for developing data quality measurements and audits while creating data management standards across the multiple businesses units/Warehouses and multiple ERP/S&OP/WMS systems.

Manage and deliver complex projects (such as our new S&OP tool and full integration of Manhattan WMS) that identify, design, and implement creative system drive business solutions through technology in partnership with the global functions.

This leader will drive common data management process, standards, policies, controls, audits, metrics, governance, and organization capabilities across the supply chain globally. Will provide expertise to supply chain staff and project teams in the areas of change management, communications, knowledge management and industry best-practice bench marking related to data management tools and how they can play a key role in success.

This leader is expected to be well-versed in best in class supply chain systems (AX/Manhattan/Kinaxis/o2/etc), large data management and be willing to go into a deep level of detail, while maintaining a strategic view to ensure alignment of people, processes and technology to enable continuous improvement of the end to end supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and improve system integration into our operations for the supply chain data domain.

  • Design and establish data governance standard processes, metrics and stewardship to improve data quality, efficiency and operating effectiveness.

  • Responsible for driving a continuous improvement philosophy across the supply chain network. Will collaborate with stakeholders to establish a performance scorecard that will be used to measure and communicate network performance such as common backorder reporting, schedule adherence, etc.

  • Execute strategies, tools, and reporting processes to track key performance measures & create dashboards to monitor, measure and present supply chain master data metrics & standards.

  • Collaborates with stakeholders and corporate team to identify, plan and execute activities to optimize network performance. This can range from the implementation of new technology to the removal or addition of a node within the network.

  • Manages cleansing and similar operations on raw data to establish the agreed "Source of Truth".

  • Understand "AS-IS" processes and develop "TO-BE" processes to streamline Master Data effectiveness efforts and ensure master data quality.

  • Ensure successful launch and effectiveness of our S&OP tool

  • Ensure successful full integration in our DC hub network of Manhattan WMS (and the subsequent links to AX/Movex/SAP/Oracle). Our Warehouses are where the inventory is owned.

  • Be a change agent and a key business partner to the Supply Chain Directors and VPs. Understanding of business is key to success

Typical Background:

  • Bachelor's Degree in or equivalent level of relevant experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain and 5+ year of data management.
