As the Director of Student Services, you will hold a central role in overseeing critical areas including Career and Technical Education (CTE), Special Education (SPED), Entitlement Grants, and Food Services. This pivotal position is not only tasked with the stewardship of these essential services but also plays a crucial role in articulating and executing our organizational vision. You will spearhead the strategic planning and deployment of programs that profoundly affect our student body.
Furthermore, as the Director of Student Services, you will act as the primary conduit between our district and strategic partners, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment of goals. Your leadership will be instrumental in translating our mission into tangible outcomes, making a lasting impact on our community and setting the standard for excellence in educational services.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Education
Az Certification (administrator)
Five (5) years of successful experience as a principal or district-level administrator ·
Experience in working with both elementary and secondary level schools ·
Experience working with teachers and principals ·
Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint clearance card
Demonstrated experience (in a previous administrative assignment) in developing a strong culture of improved achievement

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Student Services to join our team. The Director will oversee and enhance student support services to ensure the success and well-being of our student body.
Responsibilities:
Enhance Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between campus administrators and district department leaders to improve service delivery and program development, with a focus on student services
Support Strategic Initiatives: Actively support the district's vision and strategic planning, assisting in the implementation of new schools and the redesign of existing structures to ensure alignment with our educational goals
Empower School Leaders: Aid principals in creating learning environments that promote student achievement, ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed
Manage Educational Programs: Coordinate and oversee grants, as well as federal and state educational programs, to optimize the instructional support available to students
Leadership and Team Collaboration: Serve as a proactive member of the district leadership team, working collaboratively to align student services initiatives with broader district priorities
Community and Research Engagement: Initiate and lead activities based on district and community needs, and facilitate research and evidence-based projects to enhance educational services
Professional Integrity and Compliance: Uphold high ethical standards and integrity, staying informed on relevant district, state, and federal policies, and ensuring compliance with all regulations
Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform essential functions that typically involve walking, interacting with students and staff, and managing day-to-day activities within various educational settings
Skills:
Strong leadership abilities to guide a team effectively
Excellent written communication skills for grant writing and program development
Proficiency in budgeting to allocate resources efficiently
Experience in higher education teaching or student services administration
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
