Director Of Student Services And Academics

The following position is open in the Elgin Local Schools for the 2024-2025 school year:

Position: Director of Student Services and Academics

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree
Related/appropriate state of Ohio certification/license; administrative certification/licensure by Ohio Department of Education and Workforce preferred
Previous school administration/leadership experience preferred
Extensive knowledge and/or background in writing and monitoring specialized plans like IEP's, 504's, WEP's, ELL plans
Thorough background in and knowledge of K-12 curriculum development, instructional implementation preferred
Experience in facilitating and/or providing staff professional development
Working knowledge of testing and accountability as related to school
Grants writing and grants administration experience
Three or more years of teaching experience
Valid driver's license
BCII/FBI clearance
Negative TB test results
Alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent and/or Board of Education may find appropriate

Salary: To Be Determined based on experience

Contract Days: 220
