Design and Optimize the economic value delivered from a global pricing strategy in consideration of the addressable markets, competitive position, product / customer segments, and geographic reach.
Build a world-class pricing organization at Corel, with the People (roles, skills, talent), processes, tools & systems and performance management to help Corel achieve key growth and performance objectives, including driving a higher ASP (avg. sale price) through strategic and tactical approaches to execution.
Leveraging relevant best practices, design and lead strategic and tactical pricing initiatives to find future pricing opportunities and drive improved value capture at Corel, across all product segments, regions, customer segments and go-to-market channels.
Facilitate cross-functional coordination across Sales, Product Development, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance needed to gain buy in and implement impactful pricing strategies.
Manage the Corel pricing team, including pricing project managers, business analyst, systems analyst, and pricing quotations & approvals group.
Drive an improved analytic rigor to pricing decision making at Corel, acquiring and leveraging both internal and market data as necessary. Develop pricing metrics and dashboards to measure and monitor pricing effectiveness across a balanced scorecard of performance metrics.
Build visibility to Corel pricing awareness and drive a constructive shared pricing mindset across Corel.
10+ years of strategic pricing experience, with several in a management / team leadership role
A multi-level perspective on pricing including Gross pricing and Net realized pricing within a multi-channel business model including e-Commerce, Direct to Large Enterprises, 2-tier distribution model including distributors / resellers, OEMs, Inside Sales, etc.)
Familiarity with software and technology industry landscape and partnership models with tier 1 industry participants including Apple, Microsoft, Google, HP, Dell, etc.
Mastery of strategic pricing principles, including packaging, price architecture, & price differentiation.
Experience with setting list and target realized prices.
Proven success with management of tactical pricing actions and promotions that drive short term value.
Understanding of strategy, marketing and go-to-market principles.
Graduate business or related degree; Experience working in tech/software.
