Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Innovation and Strategic Improvement, this position is responsible for designing and organizing systems of sustainable school improvement. The Director of Strategic Improvement works collaboratively within the Educational Services division to provide technical assistance and improve organizational outcomes, including support and integration of assessment and accountability systems, continuous improvement methodologies, and technical assistance for qualifying LEAs and schools through California's system of support model. This position works in collaboration with educators across the county to build capacity for LEA and school improvement through a culture of equity and growth and to fulfill the vision and mission of the Monterey County Office of Education.

Requirements / Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Education and Experience: - Master's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in education or related field
Two (2) years of administrative experience leading school and/or district improvement
Three (3) years of public school teaching or school counseling experience
Three (3) years experience in secondary education Licenses and Certifications:
California Administrative Services Credential
California Driver's License with evidence of insurability
Copy of Transcript
Credential Copy (California Administrative Services Credential)
Letter of Introduction
Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 Letters of Recommendation)
