Leads the Stock Department team by providing a high level of administrative support and excellent customer service to UIC shareholders and the UIC Board of Directors.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Stock Director is responsible for the following:
Provide excellent customer service to shareholders via in-person, phone or mail, daily.
Notarize documents for shareholders upon request.
Oversee proxy, data entry and leads coordination of annual meeting mail-outs.
Manages the transfer shares in database upon BOD approval.
Leads the Stock team with annual meeting projects including registration.
Oversees the project of dividends and tax disbursements.
Enter and maintain shareholder data in shareholder database.
Trains Stock team members accordingly.
Other duties as assigned.
Ability to read, write and speak the Inupiat language.
Excellent communication skills both in writing and verbal.
Highly organized, detail oriented individual with the ability to multi-task.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of Applications.
Ability to perform basic math functions.
Maintain high level of confidentiality.
Knowledgeable in Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA), Alaska Statutes
