Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Must live or be willing to move within driving distance of the corporate office in Birmingham, Alabama.
Participate in a collaborative approach of patient management to provide the resolutions of diagnostic and therapeutic problems and the implementation of effective solutions.
Build productive working relationships with supervisors, security staff, healthcare staff, patients, vendors and clients. Establish and maintain professional relationships where you will be viewed by others as trusted and respectful.
Review charts for accuracy and to ensure contractual obligations are met.
This position will provide Telemedicine and travel to facilities across the United States as needed.
Follow all internal policies and procedures; be accountable for completion of all operational tasks according to departmental guidelines to ensure appropriate clinical processing/documentation.
Advise administration of any issues that may impact the practice.
Lead, manage and train the team of StatCare Providers.
Qualifications
Requirements:
1 year of StatCare experience preferred
Current unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
Current DEA registration
Valid CPR certification
ANCC and/or AANP or NCCPA certification
Minimum of 2 years of experience in primary care with correctional healthcare preferred
Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Organized and detail-oriented.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and decision-making skills essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
