Job Summary

Assists the organization in serving as an educational leader of the organization by initiating proposals, expanding opportunities for the organization to accomplish its goals and the California Common Core Standards, and inspiring others to work towards high standards. Ensures fiscal compliance with the Board approved budget.

Assists the organization by ensuring timely reporting to the charter authorizers of necessary reports and documents as specified in the charter. Contributes to the development, planning and implementation of the annual LCAP. Prepares a quarterly report for the governing board.

Reviews and approves appropriate data for CALPADS. Manages the development and review of curriculum, establishing the means to provide a comprehensive integrated curriculum for the inclusive special education program. Manages the development, implementation and evaluation of the programs designed to meet the ongoing professional growth needs of the faculty and staff.

Manages the organization's academic assessment programs as it relates to SPED. Participates in staff, student and community activities. Responsible for keeping the organization in compliance with accreditation guidelines and objectives.

Serves as coordinator and facilitator of various committees as assigned. Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

Requirements / Qualifications

Masters Degree Administrative Credential Possess a valid California special education teaching credential and meet any other credential 2 letters of recommendation within the last 60 days

  • Employer contribution of $10,700 towards health benefits options for medical, dental, and vision

  • After 3 years of full-time service, full-time employees are eligible for the Longevity Bonus of $100 per month paid to student loans, a 403b or 529 account. After 10 years of service the amount increases to $200 per month.
