You will report to the Equifax Workforce Solutions (EWS) Vice President (VP), Business Information Security Officer (BISO). You will be responsible for running day-to-day operations, support and implement the VP BISO vision. You will drive strategy, and objectives, while providing security oversight, leadership, guidance, consulting, and strategic planning for the business unit regarding the security program.
You will understand business strategy, life cycle, trends, metrics, and infuses this point of view back to EWS security professional, business units, senior leadership teams, and center of excellence teams. Actively works with customers and partners to develop and strengthen trust relationships between security teams respectively. You will work to ensure strategic alignment among EWS security experts, business units, senior leadership team, and center of excellence teams, while actively engaged with customers and key partners. You will lead and oversee security activities for EWS, and drives the implementation of the global security program accordingly.
Your Daily Responsibilities:
Maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our customer's data; ensuring the security of the assets of the company for EWS.
Understanding EWS's day-to-day operations, business strategy, sales life cycle, trends, metrics, and forecasting, while infusing this point of view back into the Equifax Global Security program.
Focusing on improving internal and external teamwork between business units, center of excellence teams, and key partners.
Providing consultation in support of key business drivers, providing guidance and support for the mitigation of noted areas of exposure (i.e., insecure business practices, policy exceptions, tool and technology implementations, vulnerabilities, and local programs that support security initiatives and improvements).
Working hand-in-hand with business and center of excellence peers to continuously improve the global information security management system and security posture.
Identifying, evaluating and reporting on security risks in a manner that meets compliance and regulatory requirements, and aligns with and supports the risk and security posture of the company.
Influencing a team of non-directs in peer organizations.
Balancing business risks with the security mandate, striking the right balance between likelihood and impact of an issue.
Consulting, and assisting business units in the assessment and adoption of the proper course of action when addressing risk and security.
Developing relationships with customers and understanding their "security experience" with Equifax.
Anticipating customers' security needs, developing operational plans to implement improvements.
Serving as the primary conduit through which the operational security units (technology, operations, assessments, investigations, and physical) can be effective and can affect change for the assigned area of responsibility.
Providing consultation and guidance for new business cases, coordinating security needs across all implementations and programs for assigned area.
Ensuring that leaders are well-informed regarding security programs, threats, and risks.
Championing security compliance with all local government regulations, customer contracts, and company policies in the assigned area.
Participating in business initiatives to help accelerate time to revenue and exploring monetization opportunities for Security services.
Develop weekly, monthly, and annual operational reports.
Develop and manage executive presentations, security roadmap, and metrics.
