As Director of Sales for ThermoSafe you will be responsible for sales growth in North America to include:

  • Setting weekly, monthly and annual goals and targets

  • Establish, track and maintain leading indicator metrics

  • Drive collaboration with marketing, product management, operations, quality and customer service

  • Drive sales process across the organization

  • Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.

  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.

  • Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.

  • Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.

  • Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.

  • Completes national sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.

  • Maintains national sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

  • Maintains national sales staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

This is truly a unique opportunity to assist in leading a premier State agency that serves the distinguished public school districts within the North Cook County region. NCISC serves 39 public school districts of North Cook County, Illinois, as well as our local special education cooperatives. In total, this includes over 11,000 public school employees and more than 145,000 students that are housed in 227 schools, districts, and other buildings. The Assistant Executive Director plays a vital role in helping North Cook educators grow professionally in their ability to serve ALL students and to have a positive impact on students' learning, growth, and social & emotional well-being. The Assistant Executive Director plans, schedules and coordinates a variety of innovative professional learning opportunities for district administrators, educators and support staff; manages the mentoring program for new administrators; provides networking experiences and customized support for curricular and school improvement efforts. In addition, the Assistant Executive Director is responsible for the fiscal management of all programs and grants under her/his purview, supervises ISC direct report personnel, and communicates and interacts regularly with district staff, North Cook ISC staff, and consultants/service providers. Miniumum Qualifications: * Demonstrate evidence of experience in designing professional development opportunities and learning for students and/or adult learners * Experience in a leadership role working with educators * Experience related to local school improvement initiatives * Evidence of strong communication skills and public presentation skills * Valid Illinois teaching certificate * Four (4) years teaching experience * Valid administrative or supervisory certificate Compensation and Terms of Employment: * This is a full-time position, TRS eligible.
