As you partner with local intermediaries, you will use your sales and presentation skills to position our products as the ultimate solution for the client in the New Jersey territory. You will have the opportunity to apply your past experience in sales in a new and rewarding way to accomplish the following:

  • Drive sales throughout the market by calling on advisors to promote the sale of defined contribution and defined benefit products targeted for retirement plans in the 0 - 10M AUM space, but are open to 0 -200 AUM for the right talent.

  • Build and establish relationships with financial advisors and third-party administrators.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or eight years of equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of external wholesaling experience required.

  • Strong work ethic and drive to meet or exceed established goals.

  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Experience with qualified retirement plans, non-qualified plans, defined benefit and ESOP's a bonus!

Licenses Required:

  • Successful Registration as an Investment Company Products/Variable contracts Limited Representative (FINRA Series 6 or equivalent and FINRA Series 63) within 5 months of employment.

  • Resident Life and Health appointment must be attained within 5 months of employment.

Job Level

We are open to VP level for the right experience which would cover 0-200M AUM.

This is a highly strategic position for someone who takes pride in exceptional client service, and positive results for our environment and clients. Detailed Description: Our New York City office is currently seeking a client service manager/project manager to join our team. You will play a key role on client service teams pursuing, managing and executing utility projects for the water industry (water, wastewater, and stormwater). The successful candidate will utilize their consulting, technical, and project management expertise to help ensure successful client relationships with our key clients in New York and the Northeast Area. This person will also work closely with firm-wide technical experts and marketing team, and senior leadership to strategize, capture and successfully manage and execute water projects. * Develops high-value client relationships, while representing BC with key clients and teaming partners. * Engages and cultivates client service teams to support understanding and delivering on client needs and expectations. * Creates client engagement strategies and pursuit plans, actively leading in key opportunity proposal strategy, positioning, teaming, messaging and interview development. * Serves as project manager or senior technical resource for key clients. Manage multi-disciplinary resources to deliver projects on schedule and budget and according to client critical success factors. * Ensures quality client services, clarity on work products, and delivery of high quality services within budget and schedule constraints. * Utilizes internal systems for communication, tracking and collaboration on projects and opportunities. * Supports development of staff members, especially as it relates to exceptional client service delivery, strategic planning, and effective communication. * Meets identified performance metrics including annual sales goals, project budgets and schedules. * Leverages resources, experience and skills of the firm to support client goals. * Participates in professional societies, creating connections for BC and technical professionals in support of client goals. Desired Skills and Experience: * B.S. degree in related engineering field (Civil, Environmental etc.) required; M.S. degree in related engineering field with a focus on wastewater and water services preferred. * Professional Engineer registration in the State of New York * A minimum of 15 years' experience in consulting and engineering services in the environmental sector with progressive responsibilities including business development and project delivery especially for water and wastewater municipal clients. * PMP certification from the Project Management institute a plus * Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients, lead strong project teams meeting project requirements, and provide strong business growth results in management roles. * Proven track record of successfully managing projects and delivering on time and on budget while meeting or exceeding client expectations. * Proven understanding of environmental and regulatory drivers for clients and projects. * Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resources allocation, leadership techniques and coordination of people and resources. * Proven technical skills with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts both visually and contextually are required. * Ability to motivate others and lead teams to implement plans for projects and client pursuits.
