Director Of Sales Marketing - Fusion Resort - Treasure Island, FL

Beautiful resort featuring two- and three-bedroom suites with breathtaking water views of the gulf searching for a dynamic Director of Sales & Marketing with a proven track record to grow top line revenues in rooms, boat slips, banquets, and outlets. Director of Sales must have a strong marketing background, be able to establish and implement action plans and strategies to increase business in all key segments and lead the team to produce results.

Responsibilities:

Manages the development of the strategic account plan for the demand generators in the market.

Manages and contributes to the property's reactive and proactive sales efforts.

Suggests innovative marketing ideas and develops deployment strategies to continue to grow market share and position property for travelers and locals alike.

Collaborates with revenue analyst and General Manager to execute strategies and price positioning to drive top line revenue.

Understand and keep up to date with industry, hotel's market position and competitive landscape.

Define and implement sales & marketing activities, advertising tasks, and public relations according to the marketing plan.

Responsible for administrative reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

Always provide the highest quality of service to internal and external stakeholders.

Provide strong leadership for sales team and employees throughout the resort.

Must build and establish solid relationships with the community.

Qualifications:

Director of Sales & Marketing Experience (3+ years)

Independent Hotel Experience Preferred.

Resort Experience Preferred.

Strong Marketing Background.

Treasure Island Market Knowledge & Established Community Relationships.

Expert in all Market Segments.

Extended Stay Background a Plus.

Leisure Travel Industry Background a Must.

Condominium Sales Background Helpful.

Rooms & Catering Sales Experience a Must.

Previous Experience in Selling Boat Slips Helpful.
