The Director Sales is responsible for the overall management and performance of the PDC IDenticard Access Control team. In this role you will work closely with Product Management, Marketing, and R&D to define the go-to-market strategy and product roadmap for the business. You will lead its implementation with your sales organizarion and ensure continual year over year sales and profit growth.
You are responsible for hiring and training of the sales team, maintaining executive relationships with key external business partners, and identifying growth markets for PDC IDenticard products and services. This position will report to the VP of Sales and will have significant input on the strategic direction of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Define the overall Sales and Marketing plan for the Access Control
Direct activities of Regional Sales Managers and Inside Sales
Provide leadership, strategy, process, direction, training and education to the sales team
Track sales activity and opportunity pipeline using Salesforce.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with external supplier and channel partners.
Work closely with cross-functional teams - Product Management, Marketing Communications, R&D - to define the product roadmap, promotional campaigns, and overall business strategy.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong and effective motivator of sales professionals.
Excellent personal selling skills and the ability to coach others to become the same.
Exceptional leadership skills and abilty to conduct executive level sales presentations
Extensive experience and use of CRM tools, Salesforce preferred.
Experience with sales analysis tools preferred. Focus on data driven market intelligence.
Structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations.
B.S. in Business Administration or related field preferred with at least 10 years related experience
Willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel as necessary.
