• Oversee the daily operations of the rehabilitation department, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services

• Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of services

• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of rehabilitation professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists

• Monitor and evaluate the quality of rehabilitation services provided, making recommendations for improvement as needed

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in rehabilitation management

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards of practice Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Rehabilitation Sciences, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy)

• Current licensure or certification as a rehabilitation professional (e.g., Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist)

• Proven experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting, preferably in a hospital or managed care environment

• Strong knowledge of utilization management principles and practices

• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address complex patient care issues
