Responsible for leading a proactive strategy to recruit and develop fundraising professionals across three campuses (Norman, Oklahoma City, Tulsa). Position serves as a member of the senior management team and seeks to improve the effectiveness of talent management through leadership and partnerships with administration and hiring managers. Other documents required: Professional References.

Required Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education/job related experience AND:

  • 18-36 months experience to include fundraising, professional development, and/or recruiting

Skills:

  • Proficient navigating and maintaining databases

  • Ability to speak, read and write clear, concise English

  • Basic math skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information

  • Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines

  • Able to produce reports and complete work within deadlines

  • Strong initiative to solve problems

  • Able to work well with interdepartmental teams and initiatives

  • Customer service

  • Knowledge of adult learning principles

  • Knowledge of fundraising for higher education

  • Knowledge of fundraising for healthcare

  • Ability to apply organizational and human resource development principles

  • Must be able to perform basic data analysis

  • Able to effectively evaluate projects/programs and produce comprehensive reports

  • Must be able to create and deliver effective training presentations

Certifications:

  • Valid Drivers License

Advertised Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to communicate, engage in repetitive motions, and drive a motor vehicle for travel.

Departmental Preferences:

  • Knowledge of federal/state labor laws and Human Resources practices

  • Fundraising experience in a higher education and healthcare environment
