Director of Recruiting Services Job Details

The Director of Recruiting Services at NCSA: Next College Student Athlete is responsible for overseeing our recruiting service operations. You will lead our team of front-line recruiting experts to help our premium members achieve success in the recruiting process. You will be accountable for delivering continuous improvement in our client journey through operational enhancements and improved strategic planning.

Responsibilities

  • Directly oversees NCSA's Recruiting Coaches (account managers).

  • Develop and manage initiatives designed to improve customer engagement, success, satisfaction, retention and revenue generation across all premium memberships.

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop front line employees and support managers.

  • Foster an environment where every team member can excel as a problem solver and is empowered to positively impact the customer experience.

  • Improve operations by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes, establishing and communicating service metrics, monitoring and analyzing results, and implementing changes.

  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and actively participating in professional organizations.

  • Exemplify the desired culture and service philosophy of the organization.

  • Contribute to recruiting operations budget process by forecasting requirements and managing spend on an annual basis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 or more years of managerial experience.

  • Proven track record of enhancing performance through coaching.

  • Previous leadership and management experience in a customer service role.

  • Must be able to demonstrate sustained and effective process improvement skills.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-demand, team-oriented, and fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Director or higher-level leadership position.

  • Former collegiate athletic or collegiate coaching experience preferred

VIEW JOBS 11/10/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-08T00:00 General Summary Under the direction of the Vice President, Inpatient Operations is responsible for administration including data analysis, problem solving, business and strategic planning and project management supporting the Flex Staff, Interpreter Services and Inpatient Scheduling. Directs the scheduling and staffing function for all flexible clinical resources throughout the System of Care. Initiates and implements an aggressive strategy to recruit and retain the appropriate resources to meet operations requirements for staff coverage for non-productive time and fluctuations in census. Determines needs for core and flexible resources. Associate Director of Flex Staff, Interpreter Services and Inpatient Scheduling represents their professional/clinical discipline as a mentor and in various committees and forums throughout the RIC delivery system to ensure the highest practice and administrative standards. Associate Director of Flex Staff, Interpreter Services and Inpatient Scheduling consistently demonstrates support of the SRAlab statement of Mission and Vision by striving for excellence, contributing to the team efforts and showing respect and compassion for patients and their families, fellow employees, and all others with whom there is contact at or in the interest of the institute. Associate Director of Flex Staff, Interpreter Services and Inpatient Scheduling demonstrates SRAlab Core Attributes: Communication, Accountability, Flexibility/Adaptability, Judgment/Problem Solving, Customer Service and SRAlab Values (Hope, Compassion, Discovery, Collaboration, & Commitment to Excellence) while fulfilling job duties. Principal Responsibilities The Associate Director will: * Accomplishes goal setting, strategic planning and policy development reflecting sound clinical and business analyses. Recommends related program and service development including structure, performance standards, policies and business plans. * Provides strategy and vision for scheduling/staffing tools to minimize cost and maximize efficiency of human resource utilization. Deploys these tools to other areas of the SRAlab System as needed. * Oversees the scheduling and assignment of clinical and administrative staff to ensure appropriate staff utilization. * Develops and manages staffing reports for operations analysis. * Participates in marketing analysis and promotional activities for the FlexStaff to recruit and retain top talent. * Implements a leadership strategy that cultivates a vibrant and professional work environment. Recruits, hires, coaches, and develops an appropriate mix and number of high caliber staff. Provides supervision, evaluates individual and group performance, and when necessary initiates discipline or termination of non-physician staff. * Oversees center operations as assigned. Establishes and manages progress against a set of clinical, service and financial outcomes that reflects optimal performance and are consistent with corporate standards and expectations. Practices continuous quality improvement. Maintains compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements. Ensures a functional and safe environment of care. * Monitors and achieves desired financial performance of the FlexStaff; develops operating and capital budget requests. * Ensures that employee files are maintained and include documentation of demonstrated competencies in clinical skills necessary to support quality patient care. Maintains skills checklists and performance evaluations. * Markets services to internal customers. Builds capacity to potentially service outside clinical customers. * Develops relationships with key contractual staff agencies. * Advocates a scientific approach to patient care delivery and advances the academic mission of SRAlab by providing an exciting teaching environment, maintaining strong relationships with academic institutions and professional organizations and intra and extramural funding supporting research and publication. * Collaborates with leaders and staff in other Institute centers toward the achievement of overall Institute goals. * Perform all other duties that may be assigned in the best interest of SRAlab. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES * Develops and ensures compliance with the administrative policies and procedures for the FlexStaff. Ensures compliance with corporate administrative policies and procedures. * Takes responsibility for developing and securing approval of the center operating budget; monitors compliance with revenue and expenditures and reports on variances. * Performs financial analyses of operations determining patterns and trends. . * Represents his or her clinical/professional discipline in various forums or committees and contributes to the establishment or clinical protocols and standards applicable throughout the RIC activity system. Participates in education and in-service training programs. Reporting Relationships * Reports to Vice President, Inpatient Operations. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required * Knowledge of clinical/business practice as normally acquired through completion of a bachelors degree in Allied Health or Nursing. Masters Degree preferred. * Licensure or registration in the State of Illinois, if applicable for professional discipline. * At least three years progressively responsible related clinical/business work experience in an appropriate specialty area including supervisory or managerial experience with demonstrated ability to organize, develop and effectively manage a clinical business unit. * Quantitative and analytical ability required to evaluate organizational and financial performance, to develop marketing strategy and forecast staffing needs. * Interpersonal skills necessary to provide effective leadership and communicate effectively with patients, patient families, referring parties, managed care organizations and payors, center and other SRAlab system-wide staff. Working Conditions * Normal office environment with little or no exposure to dust or extreme temperature.
