Director of Quality Management

As the Director of Quality Management, you will be responsible for the coordination, development and evaluation of all outcome activities including but not limited to:

Risk Management, Quality Improvement, Survey Readiness, Running Mock Surveys, Infection Control, Coordinating and Supervising Accreditation/Certification Activities, Employee Health, Vaccination and Education.

Responsibilities

As the Director of Quality Management, you will be responsible for coordination, development and evaluation of all outcome activities including but not limited to: Risk Management, Quality Improvement, Survey Readiness, Infection Control, Employee Health and Education.

Other requirements of the Director of Quality Management - DQM would include:

  • Coordinating all survey activities to assure that the facility maintains accreditation, certification, and licensure.

  • Organizing monthly interdisciplinary QAPI Team meetings with activities per QAPI Calendar

  • Receiving and reviews quarterly quality improvement reports

  • Assisting Medical Director and Quality Program Director with development and implementation of medical staff quality improvement activities

  • Leading hospital team in the performance of RCA at least annually and for every level 3-4 incident, unless otherwise indicated

  • Completing monthly quality related data entry, analysis and reporting

  • Focusing on the importance of employee training and education in the work place

  • Working with leadership team to ensure reporting requirements are met.

Qualifications you must have to be successful:

  • Bachelor's Degree, BSN or RN with relatable experience with quality improvement, infection control, employee health, accreditation and education.

  • Valid state RN license required

  • Ability to deliver superior quality of care.

  • Result-driven team player who treats patients as if they were their own family members.

  • You must also be a resourceful problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be willing to remain hands-on and work independently.

Duties: * Provide Medically Assisted Treatment as part of substance use services to patients within JVCHC. * Comply with Standard Operations Policies and Procedures. * Provide medical care and treatment at sites approved by the Board of Directors. * Provide medical care and treatment regardless of a patient's ability to pay, including Medicaid, Medicare, and "Indigent" patients. * Devote time and attention to performing the duties of a Physician. * Observe the hours of operation of JVCHC including after-hours, weekend, and holiday call coverage as determined by the Medical Director. * Promptly prepare and maintain accurate records of services provided in the patient medical records in accordance with Clinical Policies and Procedures of JVCHC, all State and Federal laws and other recognized regulatory agency requirements. * Interpret clinical policies and procedures to employees, patients, visitors, and governmental agencies, etc. * Conform to the published rules, regulations, and policies of the clinic, the ethics of professional conduct as specified by the Principles of Medical Ethics of the American Medical Association; and other such statutes, ordinances, rules, and regulations, as may be applicable. * Assure that all employees, patients, and visitors follow established clinical policies and procedures. * Assure that patient rights are observed and followed. * Assist fellow clinicians as necessary to facilitate effective and timely health care to the patients of JVCHC. * Recommend to the Medical Director equipment/supply needs of the clinic. * Follow and provide services to JVCHC patients at local non-JVCHC sites in order to maintain continuity of care * Provide services under contract on behalf of JVCHC as reflected in agreements between JVCHC and other parties for contracts for services.
