Excellent Compensation & Benefits package State of the art facility 401K Match Bonus Paid Holidays PTO Job Details Job Details: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Quality Assurance to join our team in the Food Manufacturing industry. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in food science and a deep understanding of quality assurance principles.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all quality assurance operations to ensure compliance with standards and regulations, while promoting continuous improvement in quality, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and manage quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of advanced composite materials and applications. Consistently drive continuous improvement in product quality, process capability, and cost-effectiveness.

Oversee all aspects of the Quality Assurance function including food safety, supplier quality, product quality assurance, product quality control, and regulatory compliance. Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive Quality Assurance program, including HACCP, GMP, and GFSI Food Safety and Quality Systems. Utilize SQF BRC FSMA GFSI and other relevant systems to drive best practices in food safety and regulatory compliance.

Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and standards. Manage and guide the Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) system, ensuring issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify challenges and implement effective solutions.

Provide leadership, direction, and development to the quality assurance team. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, or a related field. A minimum of 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the Food Manufacturing industry.

Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and GFSI Food Safety and Quality Systems. Proficiency in SQF BRC FSMA GFSI and other relevant systems. Proven experience in managing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) system.

Solid understanding of food safety and regulatory compliance. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on implementing effective solutions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization. Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
