Job Overview

The Yield Analyst handles Yield Management and Analytics end of business to develop and maintain campaign optimization strategies, quantitative analyses, models and ad-hoc reports to maximize profit and ensure business success.

Challenges and Opportunities for the position

They will work in tandem with Ops and Account Management for understanding the relationship between inventory monetization strategies and system implementation, and pro-actively account for strategy & system developments.

Responsibilities and Duties.

  • Manage Yield Management and Analytics end of business to develop and maintain campaign optimization strategies, quantitative analyses, models and ad-hoc reports to maximize profit and ensure business success.

  • Work in tandem with Ops and Account Management for understanding the relationship between inventory monetization strategies and system implementation, and pro-actively account for strategy & system developments.

  • Provide proactive direction to demand and supply channels surrounding yield opportunities and leveraging this to maximize revenue, including the identification and communication of potential short-term inventory opportunities.

  • Automating Yield Management process in collaboration with the tech team

  • Create a holistic pricing tool that can meet the existing business requirements and lead to dynamic pricing on a real-time basis.

  • Own Pricing Analytics for multiple portals and pricing as a product.

  • Maximize performance for all programmatic revenue sources

  • Maintain business reporting and analysis

  • Advice pricing strategies across markets

  • Develop and maintain quarterly revenue forecasts

  • Educate the Solutions team with market revenue trends

  • Contribute to the programmatic strategy and make valuable inputs to testing.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 8+ years of experience in yield management, pricing and analytics

  • Sharp understanding of OpenRTB/Header bidding landscape.

  • Strong analytical, reporting decision-making and problem-solving skills

  • Experience working with data around SSPs, bidders and other RTB platforms

with business intelligence or other data analysis roles

  • Strong experience with relational databases and querying such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, or MySQL

  • Visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau

  • Advance in MS Excel

  • Google Analytics

  • Experience in digital industry

  • Critical thinking and problem solving

  • Develop and manage ongoing business relationships at multiple organizational levels, and work in a dynamic environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver both formal and informal presentations to groups of all sizes

  • Experience with A/B testing and tools, with a strong understanding of data-driven decision-making

  • Knowledge of current web and mobile technologies, and familiarity with how the digital ecosystem is evolving.

We are looking to expand on the growing success of Polaris with a Director of Sales who will oversee the adoption and enterprise sales across key strategic Advertising and Programmatic customers. Description: As a Director of Sales, you will be the individual lead of the overall adoption, success and growth of the Polaris platform across key strategic advertising and programmatic clients. The role will involve maintaining an excellent understanding of the Location Intelligence platform Polaris, data, programmatic media and technology trends, general product strategy and roadmap to build strategic account sales, and revenue plans to meet and exceed the revenue growth targets. The role is ideal for a senior, high level, individual contributor who will manage the full sales lifecycle from the initial outreach through the signing of the contract. The lifecycle will include client-facing information discovery, proposal development, technical product demonstrations, and translation of client needs into strategic and tactical recommendations. Expectations of the role are to drive meaningful pipeline activity and progress through new and existing customer engagements. Execution of the sales strategy will be primarily driven by your: * Leadership and management of your go-to-market sales plan for targeted key strategic advertising and programmatic accounts. * Existing network and market relationships identifying new opportunities, discovery exercises, and existing customer adoption growth. * Partnership with senior leadership, where existing strategic discussions can be capitalized on to drive commercial relationships. * Partnership with Business Development and Product teams to expand capacity to up/cross sell Polaris' full suite of intelligence, data and activation offerings. Responsibilities: * Creating and executing a go-to-market sales strategy for key strategic accounts serving the advertising, data, and programmatic market. * Leading the entire sales lifecycle, from prospecting through deal negotiation and closure. * Producing both short- and long-term revenue results. * Maintaining extensive knowledge of the company's platform and related products/solutions. * Creating relationships with senior-level marketing executives using both inside and outside sales techniques. * Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of client needs and consultatively linking company offerings to client objectives. * Serving as a subject matter expert on marketplace trends, technologies, and developments. * Acting as an ambassador for Ubimo, growing customer networks, and representing Ubimo at key industry bodies and events.
